Survived by 10 Children - Was a well known Millwright and Ladlesmith. After an illness of about three months, Albert B Ibach died unexpectedly on Sunday morning of a complication of diseases at the residence of his son-in-law, John Ernst, Glenside, aged 75 years, 3 months and 4 days. Deceased was in good health until five years ago, when he suffered two strokes of apoplexy. He declined rapidly, but was bedfast only three days.
He is survived by 10 children; William H, Mrs John, S Lutz, and Mrs. Samuel Angstadt, near Carsonia Park; Mrs, William Rohrbach, Black Bear; John J., Albert S., Mrs Joseph Schuler, Mrs William Gottschall, and Emma, of Reading. Mrs. John Ernst, of Glenside, one sister Mrs. Barbara Bishop, Reading and a brother, Phillip, St. Lawrence. His wife (nee Seidel) preceded him in death 27 years.
Mr Ibach was born near Reading and lived all his lifetime in Exeter and Alsace Twps. and in the city. In his younger days he followed his trade of millwright, and later that of a ladlesmith. For a number of years he and the late Lawrence J Ibach. of Newmanstown, worked side by side making iron and brass ladles, which were then extensively used by farmers and butchers. He was able to make them through the various processes from raw material to finished article. When the late Gottlieb Moyer, of Jacksonwald, was operating a forge which stood near what is now Carsonia Park, he was employed as a heater, and also when the forge was operated by Seidel & Ibach. For several years deceased framed near Stony Creek, until about 15 years ago, when he removed to the city.
He was a veteran of the Civil War and served as a private in Co. L 50th Regiment, Pennsylvania Volunteers, until the close of the War.
Mr Ibach was a member of the Lutheran Congregation of Spies' Church, and a vestryman for many years. He was of a genial disposition and leaves a large circle of friends.

Floyd E Ibach, 88, of 3316 Montclair Ave., Laureldale died Saturday morning in the Ephrata Nursing Home, where he had been a patient for the last three years. Born in Reading, he was the son of the late John J and Emma (Noll) Ibach. His wife Sadie M (Koch) Ibach died Apr 5 1955.
He had been employed as a machinist by the Textile Boarding and Trimming Co., Temple, prior to his retirement in 1963.
He is survived by his two daughters; Doris G., wife of Clarence P Miller, Antioch, CA.; And Fern E., wife of Charles H Noll, Laureldale. with whom he last resided; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Services will be conducted Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. in the Walter R Christ Funeral Home, Laureldale, with the Rev. Mark K Trexler officiating. Burial will be in Spies Church Cemetery in Alsace Twp.

Pennside, March 16, - William H Ibach died at 5 o'clock this morning at his home, 601 Friedensburg Rd, this morning, at the age of 70 years, 6 months and 23 days. He was a member of Spies' Lutheran Church; Oley Lodge, No. 218, I.O.O.F., and of the Modern Woodman of America.
There survive his widow, Sarah a. Ibach; these children; Nora A., Sussex, NJ; Folrence, wife of Dr. L M Ernst; Lorane, wife of Leroy Weidner, Stoney Creek Mills; Alice, at home; Pearl, wife of Leon Leinbach, St. Lawrence; Irvin C., this place; William H., Shillington; Raymond, Masswna, NY; 10 grandchildren; these brothers and sisters; Emma, widow of Jacob Fick, Reading; Mary, wife of William Rohrbach, Reiffton; Katie, widow of John Lutz, this place; Rosie wife of John Ernst, Glenside; Ida wife of Joseph Shuler, Reading; Amelia, wife of Samuel Angstadt, this place; John and Albert, Reading.

William H Ibach, 79, of 637 N 12 St., died yesterday in St. Joseph's Hospital without regaining consciousness from a stroke suffered Saturday night while he was driving his automobile at 8th and Penn Sts.
Ibach's car struck a truck driven by Robert Baum, Brandamore, then drifted back into a car driven by Theodore Smith, 541 N Front St. No one was injured in the crash.
Ibach was a veteran of 43 years in the insurance field, and active in politics in his early years. Prior to his retirement in 1945, Ibach had been treasurer of the insurance firm of Billman & Co., 526 Court St. He also served at one time as secretary of the Reading Fire Insurance Agency.
Ibach inaugurated his political career in 1912 with an unsuccessful bid for the office of prothonotary, running on the ticket of the late Theodore Roosevelt's "Bull Moose" Party.
Active for many years in borough politics, he served from 1929 50 1933 as borough secretary of West Lawn, where he then resided, and was elected in 1933 to office of the burgess there.
In 1931 he also campaigned for the office of county treasurer and, although defeated, polled a high vote in this race. In addition, he was chairman of the borough's unemployment relief unit in the 1930's.
He was a member of the Christian Science Church.
Ibach is survived by his widow, Esther (de Beinder) Ibach, a son John W., Collingswood, NJ; a daughter, Ruth E., wife of Paul Kinsey, Reading; two grandchildren; a great-grandchild, and a sister, Edna, Pennside.
Serviced Saturday at 9 a.m. from the Parlors of T C Auman, Inc., funeral directors, with Franklin Newpher officiating. Burial in Charles Evans Cemetery,

In this city on the 1st inst., Edmund O. Immel aged 57 years. Isaac Immel, son of Leonard Immel, belonged to Trinity Lutheran Church, Rehrersburg. He died Jan. 9, 1932, at the age of 54 years. He was buried on Jan. 15, 1932 at Millbach, Pa., He is survived by two brothers and one sister.

Services were held in the Cramp Funeral Home for Kevin L. Impink, 46, Bernville Road, Greenfields, who died May 13 in Reading Hospital, where he had been a patient since May 6. Burial was in Berks County Memorial Gardens, Maidencreek Township. He was the husband of Angela C. (Ciervo) Impink. Impink, born in Reading, was a son of the late John V. and Anna L. (Freehafer) Impink. Last working in July 1998, he had been employed in the maintenance department of Parish Structural Products Division of Dana Corp., Reading for 23 years. Also surviving are two sons, Edward R. Impink and Jonathan V. Impink, both at home. Other survivors include a brother, Michael Impink, Indianapolis, Ind.

Marie M. Impink, 93, formerly of Muhlenberg Township, died June 3 in Berks Heim, where she had been a resident for three years. Her husband, Raymond G. Impink Sr., died Jan. 14, 1963. Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Charles F. and Emma (Shipper) Schuler. Impink had been employed for 20 years as a sewing-machine operator by Rachman Manufacturing Co., Reading, retiring in 1975. She was a member of Holy Guardian Angels Roman Catholic Church, Hyde Park. Impink is survived by a son, Raymond G. Jr., Muhlenberg Park; and two daughters, Sister Ann L. Impink, Philadelphia, and Mary E. (Impink) Skrocki, Sinking Spring. There are also five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday at 10 a.m. in Holy Guardian Angels Church. Burial will be in Gethsemane Cemetery, Laureldale. John P. Feeney Funeral Home Inc. is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Annie L. Ingham, 84, wife of Thomas H. Ingham, 305 S. 63rd St., Philadelphia, died at 8:25 a.m. yesterday in Jefferson Hospital, Philadelphia. She had been in ill health the last three years, and was hospitalized three weeks. Born Nov. 28, 1872, in Longswamp, Berks County, she was a daughter of the late Levi and Susanna (Steele) LeVan. She lived in Philadelphia the last 65 years, and was a member of the Lutheran faith. Besides her husband, she is survived by a brother, Alfred D. LeVan, Norristown, and several nieces and nephews. Her parents and several brothers and sisters preceded her in death. Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the J. S. Burkholder Funeral Home, 1601 Hamilton St., Allentown.

Charlotte R. Ingham, 85, formerly of Phoebe Berks Village, Wernersville, died April 11 at 8:15 p.m. in the Phoebe Berks Health Care Center Inc., Wernersville, where she had been a patient 11/2 years. She was taken to the health care center from the assisted living section at Phoebe Berks, where she had resided 11/2 years. Her husband, Russell W. Ingham, died June 26, 2002. Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late David M. and Mary M. (Kreisher) Jones. Ingham was last employed as a seamer by the Berkshire Knitting Mills, Wyomissing. She was a 1937 graduate of Reading High School. Ingham was a member of Holy Spirit Lutheran Church, Reading, where she was a Sunday school teacher for many years and a choir member. She was also a choir member at Phoebe Berks. Surviving are two sons, Craig W., Gilbertsville, and William R., Fleetwood; and a daughter, Susan R. (Ingham) Martin, York. Other survivors include two brothers, Curtis Jones, Birdsboro, and Glenn Jones, Reading; and a sister, Ruth (Jones) Lebo, Mechanicsburg, Cumberland County. There are also seven grandchildren. Services will be Friday at 12:30 p.m. in Holy Spirit Lutheran Church. Burial will be in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Reiffton. Bean Funeral Homes Inc., Sinking Spring, is in charge of arrangements.

Albert J. Isamoyer, 58, of Fleetwood R. 1, employed in the Boyertown Burial Casket Co. shipping department, died Wednesday in Community General Hospital, Reading. He was the husband of Mildred F. (Behm) Isamoyer. Born in Topton, he was a son of the late William B. and Cora E. (Lesher) Isamoyer. He was a member of New Jerusalem Lutheran Church, Fleetwood R. 1. Surviving besides his widow are a daughter Shirley, wife of Richard R. Bauscher, of Fleetwood R. 2; three sons, John and Gene, both at home, and Lee of Topton, and six grandchildren. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday in the Trexler and Hook Funeral Home, 25 E. Weiss St., Topton. Calling hours will be 7-8 p.m. Friday.

Alfred William Isamoyer, a farmer along Mertztown R.D., died at 6 a.m. Wednesday at the age of 73 years. Born in Upper Macungie township, Lehigh county, he was the son of the late August and Elinine (Moyer) Isamoyer. He was a member of the Lutheran congregation, Longswamp Union church; Pioneer Grange No. 1777, Topton, and the cemetery board, Longswamp Union church. Survivors include his wife, Annie L. (Reichelderfer) Isamoyer; a son, William B., Mertztown; two daughters, Mrs. Edwin P. Fogel, Emaus; Mrs. Robert Hoppes, Hellertown; nine grandchildren, six great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Augustus Isamoyer died of bronchitis, Wednesday afternoon, August 26, at her late residence, near Longswamp Church. She was born in Lowhill, Lehigh county, and was 67 years of age. She was a prominent member of the Longswamp Lutheran congregation. Deceased was sick about eight months, but was only confined to bed for about three weeks. She leaves her husband, two sisters and four children. The sisters are Mrs. John Wagner, Allentown, and Mrs. William Miller, Mertztown. The children are George and John, Mertztown; Albert, Hancock, and Mrs. Thomas Eck, Mertztown. One daughter, Mary, and a son in infancy, preceded her in death.

Mrs. Cora Edna Isamoyer, wife of William B. Isamoyer, Ringtown, died at 12:40 o’clock yesterday morning, five minutes after she was admitted to the Allentown hospital. Death was attributed to a cerebral hemorrhage. Born in Longswamp township, Berks county, she was the daughter of the late James E. and Maggie M. (Bender) Lesher. She was 46 years of age. She was a member of the Reformed congregation, Longswamp church. Survivors include her husband, two sons, Norman and Elmer, Mertztown R.D.; Mrs. Newton Harpel, Topton; seven grandchildren, her father, James E. Lesher, Mertztown R.D.; three brothers, Harvey, Mertztown R.D.; Herbert and Frank, both of Topton; two sisters, Mrs. Samuel Follweiler, Allentown; Mrs. Clarence Diehl, Emmaus. Funeral services will be held Saturday, 1:30 p.m. (DST) from the late home, Ringtown, near Topton, Mertztown R.D. Continued services in Longswamp church. Interment in the adjoining cemetery. The Rev. Donald Englert will officiate. Viewing Friday, 7-9 p.m.

After hovering between life and death for more than 24 hours, George Isamoyer, a prominent farmer of near Mertztown, died at the Allentown hospital at 12.35 Tuesday afternoon of injuries received in a fall from the upper loft to the ground floor of his barn at 10 o'clock Monday morning. He was aged 74 years, 7 months and 5 days. Mr. Isamoyer, prominent in the political life of Berks county, was working in the barn at the time he fell. It is believed he either lost his balance or accidentally stepped through an open trap door and fell to the ground floor, landing on his head. He received first aid treatment from Dr. Charles Smith, Topton, before being removed to the hospital, where he was under the care of Dr. Robert L. Schaeffer. He was born in Upper Macungie township, Lehigh county, a son of Augustus and Elemina (Moyer) Isamoyer, and for many years was engaged in the iron ore mining business in that vicinity with his father-in-law, the late Uriah Biery. Later he took up farming. He was a member of the Lutheran congregation of the Longswamp church, and of Orion Castle 501, K.G.E., Topton. His first wife, Elenora (Biery) Isamoyer, passed away about thirty-two years ago. Surviving him are his second wife, Katie (Stofflet) Isamoyer; two daughters and one son, Roma, at home; Mrs. Carl Wagner, Allentown; and Herbert, Reading; two step-sons, Roland Reifinger, Topton; and Curtis Reifinger, this city; seven grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and one brother, Albert Isamoyer, Oreville, Mertztown R. 1. The funeral will be held Sunday afternoon at 1.30 from his late home near Mertztown, with all services at the house, followed by interment in the Longswamp church cemetery. Rev. M. H. Brensinger, Fleetwood, will officiate.

Herbert Edward Isamoyer, who operated a pretzel factory in Reading for the last 12 years, died at noon yesterday at his home, 710 Chestnut St., Reading. He was 61 years old. Born in Longswamp township, Berks county, he was a son of George and Eleanora, nee Biery, Isamoyer. He was a member of the Veteran Firemen’s Assn. of Reading. Surviving are his wife, Anna, nee Weil; three children, George of Mertztown, Carl of Ft. Bragg, N.C., and Eleanor, wife of Marcellius Davis of Reading; eight grandchildren; a step-sister, Rhoma Isamoyer of Topton, and a sister, Mrs. Carl Wagner of Allentown. Services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at the DeLong funeral home, 107 S. Home St., Topton, with interment in Longswamp church cemetery.

John A. Isamoyer, for many years proprietor of a grocery store at Farmington, died on Sunday at the Sacred Heart hospital in his sixty-third year. He had been a patient there since Wednesday. Mr. Isamoyer was a son of the late Augustus and Elemanda, nee Moyer, Isamoyer, and is survived by his wife, Rosa, nee Gracely, and a daughter, Stella, of Allentown. Two brothers, George and Albert, of Mertztown, also survive. He was twice married, his first wife being Sarah Geist. Funeral will be held at his late home on Thursday at 2.30 p.m. Further services at Longswamp church and interment in the adjoining cemetery. Revs. W. F. Bond and W. L. Meckstroth officiating.

Nora Biery, wife of George Isamoyer, of Mertztown, died early yesterday morning of typhoid fever, aged 38 years. Her son, Rowland, died five weeks ago of the same disease. No other member of the family is ill with the same disease. Deceased was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Uriah Biery and was born in Longswamp. She was a member of Longswamp Reformed congregation, where interment will be made. She is survived by her husband and the following children: Herbert, Mertztown, and Miss Luella, at home. Also by her father, Uriah Biery and the following brothers and sisters: Miss Cabbie Biery, who has been living with her for a number of years, Samuel Biery, Mrs. Clara, wife of Max Erdman, Allentown; James, Misses Ada and Edythe Biery, of Shamrock.
