Know all men by these present that we, Augustus Cassell of Putnam County, Illinois, Guardian duly appointed by the Probate Court of said County of John Henry Cassell and Joseph Cassell, of the same place and appointed by the same court, Guardian of George Edward Cassell, both being legatees named in the Will of Esther Berry, late of Annville Township, Lebanon County, Pennsylvania, deceased, that each of us as Guardians have had and received of and from John Killinger and John Miller, Executors of the Will and Testament of said Esther Berry deceased, the sum of two hundred and ninety six dollars and thirty six cents, amounting together to the sum of five hundred and ninety two dollars and seventy two cents, after deducting the collateral inheritance tax due the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, in full satisfaction and payment of all such sum or sums of money, legacies and bequests as are given and bequeathed to said John Henry Cassell and George Edward Cassell by the last Will and Testament aforesaid, together with all interest due thereon, and therefore, we the said Augustus Cassell and Joseph Cassell, Guardians as aforesaid, do by these present, release acquit and forever discharge the said John Killinger and John Miller, their heirs executor and administrator of and from the said acquiesce and bequest and of from all actions, suits payments accounts reckonings, claims and demands whatsoever for or by reason thereof or of any other act, matter, cause or thing whatsoever touching the same. In Witness whereof we have hereunto set our hands and seals this day 19th day of May, A.D., one thousand eight hundred and forty-nine.

The people of the State of Illinois, to Augustus Cassell, Whereas, at a Court of Probate, held in and for said county of Putnam, on the first day of January A.D. 1849, satisfactory evidence having been produced to the Court, that John Henry Cassell of the age of fourteen years on the 28th day of November A.D. 1848, minor heir of Augustus Cassell is without the protection which by law he is entitled, i do therefore hereby appoint you Guardian of the said John Henry Cassell's person and property until he shall arrive at the age of twenty-one years.

IT IS ORDERED that a Citation do issue to Anna Maria Henning, Administratrix of all & Singular the Goods and Chattles Right and Credits with the Testament annexed which were of the said Jacob Henning deceased to appear at an Orphan's Court to be held at Lancaster for the County of Lancaster on Tuesday the fourth day of June next, next then and there to Settle and Pass the Account of her Administration on the Estate of the said deceased so that distribution be made thereon Agreeable to the Last Will and Testament of the said Jacob Henning deceased and to Abide the Judgement of the same Court.
