Give as much information as possible, such as a Deed Volume (Book) Number and Page Number; or Tax Statement

From 1952-by name index, using Russell Key index books.  If you visit, ASK an employee to explain HOW to use the Index Books.

Fees: $10.00 PER NAME per search, copying of original extra.  

Requests: Make requests IN WRITING, give as much info as possible, such as NAME, YEAR (or span of years), SPECIFY if you want GRANTOR (Seller) or GRANTEE (Buyer) record, TOWNSHIP/ location of residence.  Make sure to include LONG SASE or BROWN ENVELOPE with enough postage affixed.

Payment: Personal Check, cash, money order made to "Recorder of Deeds". No credit cards.  

ONLINE SOURCES TO SEARCH

The county now offers a look-up service you can buy into.  The site is www.landex.com/webstore/  - For INFREQUENT searchers.   For FREQUENT searchers the URL is www.landex.com/remote/   Frequent Searchers usually means Attorneys, Title Searchers & Title Search Offices (such as employed by Mortgage companies and banks.)  They do monitor usage of the site, so you cannot claim "infrequent" status and then use a ton of searches.  Call the Landex Company number:  717-274-5890
