Obituary of Helen Chapman Quinby

Mrs. W. K. Quinby
Mrs. Helen Chapman Quinby, aged 51, of 46 Terrance Drive, wife of
William K. Quinby, died at 12:30 a.m. Sunday in South Side unit of Youngstown Hospital. She had been ill of a heart ailment for several years.
Mrs. Quinby was born march 24, 1893, at Sandy Lake PA, a daughter of Elizabeth Ropson Chapman
and the late Bert Chapman. She lived in Youngstown two years and was a former resident of New Castle. She was a member
of the Episcopal Church of New Castle.
Besides her husband and her mother, survivors include a son, T/Sgt. William Quinby Jr.
Stationed at Smyrna Airfield, Tenn., a brother Charles Chapman of Youngstown, and a sister,
Mrs. C. F. Cook of Chicago.
Funeral service will be held at 2 p. m. Tuesday at the Hofmeister Memorial Funeral Home where the family will meet friends this evening.
