Died 1924 in Sharon, PA

Charles W. Quinby

Charles William Quinby, aged 9, son of Mr. And Mrs. William K. Quinby, died at the family home, 104 Washington Street, Friday about 9:30 p. m. After an illness of one week. He attended the Fifth Grade in the South Ward School. About a week ago he was forced to give up his studies because of illness, but his condition seemingly improved until Friday night, when he suffered a sudden relapse and expired within a short time.

Charles was a boy of amiable disposition and popular with his companions. He was one of the brightest students in the South Ward School and his death occasions deep grief among his many friends.

He was born February 15, 1915, and attended the First Methodist Sunday School. He is survived by his parents, William K. and Helen Chapman Quinby, and one brother, William.

Funeral service will be held from the home Monday at 2 p. m., the Rev. Charles E. Petree of the First Methodist Episcopal Church, officiating. Burial will be made in Oakwood Cemetery.
