December 2, 2013 Old Deerfield Cemetery, in Deerfield township, is now online.

November 8, 2013 Another new cemetery: Saint Mary's Orthodox Cemetery in Columbus township.

October 25, 2013 Elk township's Seven Dolors Cemetery has been added.

October 18, 2013 Finally, a work-still-in-progress, but at least up and running: Warren State Hospital.

October 17, 2013 Warren State Hospital Cemetery, located in Conewango township, now posted.

October 14, 2013 Another new cemetery page: Swedish Union Church Cemetery in Triumph township.

October 13, 2013 New page for Fairbanks Cemetery in Farmington township added.

September 16, 2013 Oakland Cemetery, largest in Warren County, now has a page with photos and directions. Neighboring Saint Joseph Cemetery, also in Pleasant township, has been updated.

September 10, 2013 New page for a cemetery in Brokenstraw township: Irvine Presbyterian Cemetery.

September 8, 2013 Death records surnames beginning Gl through Go, 1893-1905 available. Also new is the Cherry Hill Cemetery page.

September 6, 2013 Newspaper accounts of Tidioute's worst fire in it's history.

September 4, 2013 Death records surnames beginning with Gi, 1893-1905 now online. New cemetery in South West township: Enterprise, AKA United Methodist Church Cemetery, complete with fotos and a link to FindAGrave listings.

August 23, 2013 More death records, surnames Ga through Ge, 1893-1905. New page documenting the building of Warren's Soldiers' and Sailors' Monument.

August 3, 2013 All Death Records, 1893-1905 for surnames beginning with "F" completed and posted, for a total of 133 names.

July 30, 2013 Death Records, 1893-1905 for surnames "Fl through Fo" now available. Navigation of rivers has been completed on the Transportation page.

July 18, 2013 Fifty eight names have been posted: Death Records, 1893-1905 for surnames "Fa through Fi." New page as a work-in-progress: Government, with information gleaned from J.S. Schenck's book and a link to the current Warren County government page.

July 2, 2013 Death Records, 1893-1905 for surnames "En through Ey" completed for a total of 112 surnames beginning with "E." Some January 1899 nuggets added from the Warren newspaper, the Evening Democrat. All biographies with surnames beginning with the letter "K" have been extracted from History Of Warren County Pennsylvania with Illustrations and Biographical Sketches of Some of Its Prominent Men and Pioneers, edited by J.S. Schenck, published 1887. Also added, the One Hundred and Forty-Fifth Regiment, participant in the Civil War.

June 29, 2013 Fifty eight names added, see Death Records, 1893-1905 for surnames "Ea through Em."

June 24, 2013 Death Records, 1893-1905 for surnames "De - Dz" added for a total of 119 names. Photograph of Warren State Hospital now on the Conewango township page.

June 14, 2013 Death Records, 1893-1905 for surnames beginning with "Da" has been added with a total of 76 names.

May 30, 2013 Biographies for Orren C. ALLEN, Samuel M. GRAHAM and Samuel P. JOHNSON are additions. Also new, an interesting personal reminiscence by James H. Eddy about the early days in Warren, published in the April 25, 1894, edition of The Evening Democrat.

May 25, 2013 Sixty three surnames "Cr through Cu" now complete in Death Records, 1893-1905, for a total of 348 names beginning with the letter "C."

May 24, 2013 One hundred and five surnames beginning with "Co" added to Death Records, 1893-1905.

May 22, 2013 Ninety surnames beginning with "Ce" through "Cl" added to Death Records, 1893-1905.

May 14, 2013 New News of Garland linked to the Pittsfield township page.

May 13, 2013 Ninety surnames beginning with "Ca" added to Death Records, 1893-1905.

May 10, 2013 Article describing the1906 Dedication of the Dr. John Franklin White Memorial School Building at Youngsville added.

May 8, 2013 From the County Courthouse and Vital Records page, a link added to actual courthouse documents now available online and free at FamilySearch. A new page with - alas - only one entry: Obituaries - Surnames beginning with J. More J's to follow in future. Three new photos: Refinery and train station, Tidioute; Daniel Webster Downey and wife Anna (Plunkett). See Photographs page.

November 27, 2012 Now posted: Clendening Cemetery in Elk Township with Clendening Cemetery tombstone transcriptions and photographs contributed by Laura M. Brainard, Warren High School, class of 1909 with all 36 names of graduates, and a bit of information about Garland schools.

November 20, 2012 New cemetery page - Loomis in Eldred Township. Alphabetical listing of Loomis Cemetery graves with photographs shared by Tom Goodwill, The PennCemeteries Project.

November 17, 2012 Wetmore Cemetery, located within the city of Warren, now has a webpage with description, driving directions, and photographs.

November 15, 2012 Warren County Historical Roadside and City Markers with photographs - courtesy of the Pennsylvania Historical and Museum Commission.

November 9, 2012 Cemetery page has been revamped and updated with many new entries. Many thanks to Lee R. Dosser, Troop 43 of the Boy Scouts of America, who compiled and updated (as an Eagle Project), "Cemeteries of Warren County," published on September 11, 1990. A copy is available at the Reference Department of the Warren Public Library.

November 9, 2012 New cemetery: Lottsville in Freehold Township.

November 8, 2012 Distances to various villages and boroughs within the county from the county seat, Warren, now on the Maps page.

October 30, 2012 The early history of now defunct Kinzua Township has been added. New cemetery pages: Pleasant Township's Lenhart Cemetery and Limestone Township's Limestone Cemetery.

October 28, 2012 Hale Cemetery, in Pine Grove Township, has a new page.

October 26, 2012 Completed: Religious Societies, the final part of the early history of Warren borough, from History Of Warren County Pennsylvania with Illustrations and Biographical Sketches of Some of Its Prominent Men and Pioneers, edited by J.S. Schenck, 1887. New is the early history of Corydon Township.

October 25, 2012 Pine Grove Cemetery page is new.

October 24, 2012 Cemeteries have been updated: Sheffield and St. Michael's Byzantine Catholic Cemeteries, Tidioute, Westlawn, and Wrightsville Cemetery .

September 4, 2012 New are the obituaries of three men involved in the early oil industry: Elijah Grandin, Charles Tompsett, and James C. Welsh. Additional detailed death records for the period 1893-1905 for surnames beginning with "N" and "Q" are available. Entries for 2010-2011 in What's New moved to a separate page.

August 29, 2012 Three maps of early Warren County and vicinity have been added to the Maps page.

August 24, 2012 Two new photographs: Hunter School, Tidioute, taken perhaps in the 1940s and the Pennsylvania Railroad Passenger Station in Warren prior to demolition.

August 16, 2012 New - another page of biographies added: Surnames beginning with the letter "V". Civil War information on the One Hundred and Thirteenth Regiment—Twelfth Cavalry now available. The 1806 tax list for Brokenstraw Township, the earliest taken, is now online.

August 15, 2012 Biography of Judge Rasselas Brown uploaded, including a photograph of his home built in 1866, (courtesy of the Warren Library Association).

August 3, 2012 More history of the churches in the city of Warren is now available, including three photos of early churches (courtesy of the Warren Library Association). Interesting photograph of the Warren County Courthouse Complex taken about 1877. A new page added to Triumph township: Fagundus, the little boom/ghost town that straddles two county lines. Finally (!), a Cemeteries Alphabetical Listing by Name resource. More new pages with too few entries: Obituaries. Another work-in-progress...

The chapter on Petroleum from "History Of Warren County Pennsylvania with Illustrations and Biographical Sketches of Some of Its Prominent Men and Pioneers," edited by J.S. Schenck, published 1887, added as part of a new page, "The Oil Excitement!."

July 19, 2012 Early History of Wagon Roads added to the Transportation page. Religious Societies, beginning with the First Presbyterian Church, added to the early history of the city of Warren, with more churches to follow.

July 16, 2012 Biographies of Surnames beginning with the letter "I", with just one entry, but it's a start! To the History page has been added A Brief Early History by Date.

July 12, 2012 Wonderful photograph of the very impressive mansion built by David Beaty in 1873 added to the David Beaty biography page; photo courtesy of the Warren Library Association.

July 11, 2012 Photograph of Asenath (Mudge) Deming, courtesy of Carol Swanson, added to the Spring Creek township page. Early history of the city of Warren continues - page 5 - as of yet unfinished. Another new page - biographies of Surnames beginning with the letter "O". Also a work-in-progress is Notable People of Warren County.

June 25, 2012 Civil War history of the "Bucktails," officially known as the Forty-Second Regiment is now available, including a great photograph of Sgt. Andrew Jackson Deming, graciously shared by Carol Swanson. Civil War links, not directly related to Warren County, were moved to the Resources page.

June 19, 2012 Photograph of the Warren County Historical Society building generously shared by the Warren County Historical Society and posted on the Resources page. Historical population figures, 1790-2010, added to the Census page. Civil War history of the "Warren Guards," Campany H, now linked on the Military page. New page in progress - biographies of Surnames beginning with the letter "C". New logo at the top of many of the site pages too - did you notice?

June 16, 2012 New Transportation page is a current work-in-progress, beginning with the early history of Warren's railroads. Pioneers have been added to Conewango township.

June 12, 2012 New pages in progress - biographies of Surnames beginning with the letter "F", Surnames beginning with the letter "J" and Surnames beginning with the letter "N". Pioneers have been added to Triumph township.
