The beautiful Italian Renaissance style house is conveniently located next to the Warren County Courthouse. Also known as the Wetmore House, it was built by industrialist Thomas Struthers between 1870-1873 as a wedding present for his only daughter Anna Wetmore. The Historical Society acquired it in 1964; it was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1975. Read the Nomination Form of the National Register of Historic Places Inventory for more about this fine example of Victorian architecture.
