Warren County Historical Society 210 4th Avenue Warren, PA 16365 (814) 723-1795 E-mail: warrencountyhistory@aol.com The beautiful Italian Renaissance style house is conveniently located next to the Warren County Courthouse. Also known as the Wetmore House, it was built by industrialist Thomas Struthers between 1870-1873 as a wedding present for his only daughter Anna Wetmore. The Historical Society acquired it in 1964; it was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1975. Warren County Government Described as "an excellent example of the 19th Century Victorian court house." Begun in 1876 and completed the following year for $100,000, the building is a combination of "Italian Renaissance and French architectural concepts" designed by Milton Earl Beebe of Buffalo, NY.
