RUSSELL SCHOOL OPENS IN NEW HOME
Splendid Structure will be Ready for Occupancy Next Week--Complete in All Details
Next week will see the opening of another of the fine school buildings for which Warren county is noted. School Director Charles Clark is authority for the statement that the new building at Russell will be opened next week and that every department will be ready for the reception of the students. Everything is all ready to throw the building open with the exception of installing the automatic controls of the heating system, and this work will be finished this week.
Russell's new building is one of the most complete in the county. Of brick construction and mounted on a site that is high and dry, it is the pride of the people of Russell. The construction of the building was in the hands of the Warren Construction company of Jamestown and, in spite of many delays and disappointments in the shipping of supplies, good time has been made on the work.
The building is complete with all of the latest educational fixtures and the seating arrangements and lighting and ventilating schemes are of the most modern type. Electricity is used for lighting and lines from the Warren-Jamestown trolley system are now being led into the building.
Russell's schools will be among those of the county to which County Superintendent Knapp can point with pride and the building will be among the most attractive in the county.

Russell school board met last night and elected the following teachers: H. W. Cummings, Harriet Engle, Margaret Lauder, Marie Harrington, Jefferson Sears, Richard Holt, Rachel Springer, Margaret Fox, Margaret Duell, Fern Young and Inez Young.
