I am searching for information regarding James Lees b. 1790 in Staffordshire, England and his wife Mary Ann Mansfield Meyrick b. 1795 in Staffordshire, England. This couple and their children immigrated in 1845 to Danville, Montour, PA. James and Mary were listed on the 1850 Federal Census in Danville. The 1860 Federal Census lists only Mary living with her son John Lees--an iron roller in Danville. I would appreciate any information on this family. Thanks!

In 1870, HANNAH lives alone in Danville, 4th ward. In 1880 HANNAH lives with son CLARK on Church St., Danville. Before coming to Danville (after 1850), Simon resided in Catawissa, Columbia Co. In the 1850 census SIMON's name is recorded as SAMUEL. I believe SIMON is the brother of my gggrandfather DAVID CODER who migrated to the midwest. Who were SIMON's parents and siblings?

Looking for the descendants of the Henry Clinton Snyder family. Henry (b: 28 December, 1820 d: 25 March, 1910) was the first burgess of Washingtonville and moved to the area about 1857 (?). Henry married Eliza A. Kelchner (b:28 February, 1828 d:30 January, 1912). His children were Clara Snyder b:April 1849 (m. Jacob Martz); Clinton Snyder b:1852 (m. Cathryn Elizabeth Deshler); Sade Snyder b:1855 d:1947 (m. Horace Lichenthaler); George William Snyder b:20 April, 1857 d:10 July, 1938 (m. Harriet M. Rider); Ida Snyderb: 1858 d: 1948 (m. David Dessler); John A. Snyder b:1862 d:1910; Robert Snyder b:1870. I am descended from George William and know only his descendants. Looking for information to add on KISTNER/YEAGER/PLOTT/MOWREY families. My grandparents were Frank William and Ruth Ann Yeager Kistner of Danville. They lived on Chamber Street, the house is still there and we still have family members there. I am looking for more information on her father, Wellington Durant Yeager..I have the family group sheet, but not really any information about the family, where they came from, what they did for a living, and where they died and were buried. On the Mowrey side: Ruth Ann Yeager's mother was Jenny Mowrey...daughter of William Riley Mowrey....Jenney's brothers John and Elmer were well known in Danville area...but would like to know if anyone has anything else to offer that I could put in a scrapbook.... One of the problems I have come across deals with the first wife of Joseph Priestly Kistner, Frank William Kistner's father. The first wife, Mary Plott was the mother of Frank....later, don't know if she died or what...he married Mary Hoover and had other children, Clint, Claude, Lena, etc....I want to know what happened to Mary Plott and who her parents were....does anyone out there have the answer to this question...and if so, where is Mary Plott buried, and who was her family...I have a copy of the marriage application form that gives Frank Kistner's mother as Mary Plott and this confirmed family information...but still dead ends....

He married a Jennie ROTE.on 30 March 1903 I am also looking for any information on his father John ZETTLEMOYER (young John or John Jr.) who was born in Berks Co. Pa on 13 Feb. 1852. He died in Montour Co.on 6 Dec. 1922 and married Julia or Juliana or Julia Ann COOPER on 13 Aug. 1874 in Northumberland Co. Pa. It is believed he lived in Jackson Twp. when he died or he is buried there. I am especially looking for any information about William ZETTLEMOYER'S grandfather John ZETTLEMOYER (old john or John Sr.) He was born 2 June 1806 in Pa. and died 5 jan 1883 in Montour Co. Pa. He married Catharina SCHNEIDER/Catherine SNYDER on 21 Mar 1830 in Berks co. Pa. by Rev. G.F. J. Jaeger. Any information on who his parents were would be helpful. John ZETTLEMOYER Sr. was a farmer and he received the land for the farm in Berks co. from George ZETTLEMOYER and his wife Barbara. I would also like any information on William ZETTLEMOYER'S son LLoyd Rote ZETTLEMOYER and his descendants. He was b. 23 Dec 1903 and died 04 Feb. 1962. I am a descendant of his sister Edna Pauline ZETTLEMOYER who married Milton Roosevelt HERALD. She was b. 02 Oct. 1915 and d. 05 Jan 1982. Any help is appreciated. I am willing to share info.
