ANTHONY PETRONIO
ANTHONY "TONY" PETRONIO of
Warminster, formerly of Hazleton, died suddenly on
Thursday, June 19, 2003, at his home. He was 64.
He is survived by his loving wife
of nearly 40 years, URSULA (FEDULLO) PETRONIO.
Born in Long Branch, N.J., he was
a son of the late ANTHONY and CARMELLA (FORNATARO)
PETRONIO.
A graduate of Hazleton High
School, Class of 1957, he excelled in many sports and
was an all-star fullback on the football team. Although
he had many college scholarship opportunities, he
elected to serve his country in the U.S. Navy, before
putting himself through King's College in Wilkes Barre.
A certified public accountant,
Tony was a senior adult manager with Arthur Andersen
and later served as chief financial officer with Globe
Security Systems and The Beck Co. In recent years, he
owned and operated Minuteman Press of Huntingdon
Valley.
Tony had a great passion for golf.
His many other hobbies included skiing, swimming,
coaching, rooting for Notre Dame and making his
homemade sauce and meatballs.
He will be greatly missed by his
family.
Relatives and friends are invited
to attend his viewing from 11 a.m. until the funeral
Mass at noon on Tuesday, June 24, in St. Jude Church,
321 W. Butler Ave., Chalfont. Interment will follow in
St. John Neumann Cemetery.
