PAUL L. MOSSER
PAUL L. MOSSER, formerly of
Hilltown Township, died Friday, June 20, 2003, in
Rockhill Mennonite Community, West Rockhill Township.
He was 95.
He was the husband of IDA (TRAUGER)
MOSSER. He was preceded in death by his first wife,
EVELYN (PILLER) MOSSER, on Sept. 15, 1991.
Born in Cranford, N.J., he was the
son of the late LEWIS O. and ETHEL (LEE) MOSSER.
Mr. Mosser was a self-employed
dairy farmer in Hilltown Township from 1937 until
retiring in 1987. Prior to that, he worked as a flight
mechanic for O.J. Whitney and Curtis Wright at
LaGuardia Field from 1927 to 1937.
He was a member of Rockhill
Mennonite Church, West Rockhill Township.
Mr. Mosser was a charter member of
the Hilltown Historical Society, the Pennridge Fish &
Game Association and the National Rifle Association. He
also enjoyed woodworking.
He was a former member of the
Civil Air Patrol, having served during World War II.
In addition to his wife, he is
survived by nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to
attend his funeral service at 8 p.m. on Tuesday, June
24, in Rockhill Mennonite Community Chapel, 3250 State
Road, Sellersville, where friends may call from 6:30 to
8 p.m. Interment will be at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, June
25, in South Perkasie Evangelical Cemetery, Perkasie.
