SAMUEL SCHULER
Samuel
Schuler, of Perkasie, aged 57 years and 2 months, died last
Thursday morning, of tuberculosis.
The deceased
was one of the first Deacons of Trinity Lutheran Church,
Perkasie. By trade he was a cigar packer, working up until
eight months of his death. Mr. Schuler had served two terms in
the Borough Council.
The funeral
services were held on Monday afternoon. Interment in Trinity
Lutheran Church cemetery. Rev. Norman Y. Ritter officiated.
He is
survived by a widow and one son, Calvin, of Philadelphia, and an
aged mother, Elizabeth Schuler; two brothers - Edwin and John
Schuler, and one sister, Mrs. Mahlon Nace, of Perkasie".

Edith
Schuler,
17-year-old daughter of Calvin Schuler, died at the
Sacred Heart Hospital, Allentown, Friday, March 20, after an
illness of nearly six months. Miss Schuler was a native of
Perkasie, but for several years has been living near Red Hill,
Montgomery County. She underwent an operation for appendicitis
last Fall and never fully recovered, complications developed
recently which resulted in her death.
Interment at
Trinity Lutheran Church Cemetery in Perkasie.
