AHLUM /ALLEM -- From Johann Jacob Ahlum, who came to Philadelphia in 1751 and to Haycock and environs in the 1750s, including all of his children, and their descendants, and spouses. As of December 2008 updated publication, there are just about 10,000 connected persons.




ALLEN ---Henry ALLEN, b 1843 in PA, who had a son Henry ALLEN Jr. in 1868 by Emeline HILL.  He later married Annie Margaret LEACH/LEECH of Carversville.  Henry ALLEN Sr. had a sister, Susan ALLEN (b 1838), who married ca 1861 Michael HOLDSWORTH.  They had a large family in Philadelphia, where they lived.  Henry ALLEN Jr. had sons Russell, William and Lloyd by Margaret SHORT/VAN NORMAN, all born ca 1890s at Point Pleasant and New Hope, Bucks County
