DAVIS, Gideon --------------------------------------------------- was from Hunterdon Co. NJ. He married Sarah Morgan, who came from Bucks Co. They had several children. Some of their names were Gideon Calvis Davis Jr., Howell Davis, and Elizabeth Davis. Elizabeth Davis married Hutchinson Jenks Girton of Newton, Bucks, PA. Gideon Calvin Davis Jr. married Martha Satterthwaite at Indianapolis, IN. Gideon Calvin Davis Jr. and Martha Satterwaite, and Elizabeth and Hutchinson Girton were my ggrandparents. Mary died between Jan 1828 & Jan 1829. Her will mentions sons: John, Edward, & William Davis BRELSFORD, daughters: Rebecca JAMES, Letitia HELLINGS, and a sister Sarah BROWN.
