WRONOWSKI - CHAMPAGNE
Miss Ruth Maxine CHAMPAGNE of New Bedford, Mass., and Lt. Stephen J. WRONOWSKI, stationed on the U. S. cable ship "Joseph Henry" at New London, Conn., son of the late Mrs. Mary CIOSMAK of Oakdale, were married Thursday, March 23, 1944, in New Bedford. The double ring ceremony was used.
The bride wore a taffeta plaid ensemble with green accessories and a corsage of orchids. The attendants were Captain and Mrs. John A. MILLER. Mrs. MILLER wore beige wool crepe and a corsage of camellias.
Following a reception and dinner in the New Bedford hotel, the couple left for a brief wedding trip.

Mr. and Mrs. Frank A. SCHAEFER of Center avenue announce the marriage of their daughter Marie Genevieve to Alexander Lee
WYKE, son of Mr. and Mrs. Lee WYKE of Candor. The ceremony was performed Tuesday, September 15, by the Rev. Fr. Joseph A.
BURGOON.
The bride was attired in an autumn gray costume suit with King Edward red accessories. She wore a shoulder corsage of talisman roses. Her maid of honor was Miss Janet
WYKE, sister of the bridegroom. She wore Kelley green with dark green accessories and a corsage of American Beauty roses. William MALARKEY, cousin of the bride, was Mr. WYKE's best man.
After the ceremony, a wedding dinner was served at the Pitt Grill, with covers laid for thirty-one. The table was beautifully decorated with garden flowers; the predominating colors were yellow and silver. The wedding cake was set on the crystal stand which held the wedding cake of the bridegroom's grandmother fifty-three years ago. Following the dinner a reception was held at the bride's home.
Both the bride and bridegroom are graduates of McDonald high school. Mr. WYKE is employed with the Peoples Gas Co.

WYKE - BRIDGES
At a beautifully appointed home wedding Saturday, August 13, 1938, at 2:30 o'clock, Miss Evelyn Rae BRIDGES, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas O. BRIDGES of Burgettstown became the bride of John Ackleson WYKE, son of Mr. and Mrs. Lee WYKE of R. D. 1, Bulger. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. J. P. SHAW of Candor, assisted by the Rev. J. V. STEVENSON of Raccoon.
The bride, who was given in marriage by her father, was gowned in white silk lace and organza and wore a finger-tip veil. She carried an arm bouquet of white roses and stock.
Miss Mary BRIDGES, sister of the bride, was maid of honor. She was gowned in blue taffeta and carried an arm bouquet of pink roses. The bridesmaids, Miss Janet WYKE of R. D. 1, Bulger, sister of the bridegroom, wore aquamarine taffeta and carried talisman roses, and Miss Mary Elizabeth MILLER of Burgettstown wore old rose taffeta and carried talisman roses.
The bridegroom's only attendant was his brother, Dr. William WYKE, a dentist of McDonald.
Miss Mary KERR of Oakdale played the wedding music. Miss Amy KERR of Oakdale sang "O Promise Me."
The only living grandparent, Mrs. Sallie WYKE, was present for the ceremony. All the immediate members of both families, and friends were wedding guests. A reception and luncheon on the lawn followed the ceremony. There were 70 guests. The wedding cake was baked by Mrs. Alfred EVANS, sister of the bride.
Mrs. WYKE is a 1938 graduate of Union high school, Burgettstown, and Mr. WYKE is a 1936 graduate of McDonald high school and is employed by the Peoples Gas Co.
Mr. and Mrs. WYKE left immediately for a northern wedding trip. They will reside with the bride's parents.

WYLIE - WILSON
The marriage of Miss Martha Odessa WILSON, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. D. H. WILSON of Hickory, to Marion William WYLIE, son of Mathew WYLIE of Canonsburg, was solemnized Wednesday afternoon, May 3, 1939. The ceremony was performed at 3 o'clock by the Rev. C. S. THOMAS, pastor of the Mt. Prospect Presbyterian church of Hickory, at his home. The bride was attired in a blue traveling suit, with accessories to match and wore a corsage of red rosebuds. The bride's only attendant was her sister, Miss Helen Ann WILSON. She wore a suit of gray with matching accessories and a corsage of talisman roses. Wilson WYLIE served as his brother's
bestman. The bride is a graduate of the Hickory high school, class of 1935, and was formerly employed at the Continental Can factory, Canonsburg. The bridegroom is a successful farmer at McConnell's Mills. After a short trip through the Southern States, they will be at their home at McConnell's Mills.
