Miss Loraine Grace SMITH, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Benjamin SMITH of Carnegie, became the bride of Clifford E. WRIGHT of Coshocton, Ohio, Tuesday evening at 7:45 o'clock, before an altar banked with cibodium ferns and autumn leaves in the home of the bride's parents. The Rev. John WISHART, pastor of the Carnegie Presbyterian church, officiated. The wedding march was played by Miss Sara Lawrence of Crafton. The bride was given in marriage by her father. She wore a gown of white catspurr crepe with lace and pearl trimmings and carried white roses and lilies of the valley. Miss Gladys SMITH, sister of the bride, as maid of honor appeared in apple green crepe and carried ophelia roses and chrysanthemums. The bridesmaids were Miss Mathilda SPEICHER, who was gowned in orchid crepe and carried ophelia roses, and Miss Elizabeth ORR, who wore yellow canton crepe and carried yellow roses and chrysanthemums. Mrs. SMITH, mother of the bride, wore a gown of black embroidered satin crepe. Charles SPRING acted as best man. Miss Margaret BICKEL, a cousin of the bride, sang "I Love You Truly," and "O Promise Me." Among the guests were Albert WRIGHT of Dennison, Ohio, and Mrs. L. WRIGHT of Chicago, Ill. Following the ceremony a reception was held in the home of the bride. Covers were laid for twelve at the bride's table and the centerpiece consisted of yellow chrysanthemums, orchids and white roses. After the reception Mr. and Mrs. WRIGHT left for a trip to Chicago. They will be at home after September 25th in Fifth avenue, Carnegie, in their newly furnished home. The bride is a niece of Mrs. E. O. KRAEER of Arabella street, McDonald.

A very pretty home wedding solemnized on Saturday, July 6, was that of Miss Martha E. HAZLETT, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. E. C. HAZLETT of Noblestown, and Everett K. WRIGHT of Grand Rapids, Mich. The Rev. Paul N. HAZLETT of Avella, a cousin of the bride, assisted by Rev. John C. HARE of Noblestown, performed the ceremony at the HAZLETT home, only the immediate families being present.

After a luncheon, the young couple left immediately for an eastern motor trip. Mr. and Mrs. WRIGHT were both students at the University of Michigan. Mr. WRIGHT graduated in 1927.

WRIGHT - JOHNSTON

Miss Margaret Jane JOHNSTON of Battle Creek, Mich., daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Duncan JOHNSTON of East Lincoln avenue, McDonald, and Frederick WRIGHT were united in marriage at 8 o'clock Wednesday evening, March 9, 1938, in the First Congregational church parlors. The bride wore a three piece blue ensemble suit with blue accessories. A reception followed the ceremony after which Mr. and Mrs. WRIGHT left for Missouri to visit Mr. Wright's parents. After their return Mr. and Mrs. WRIGHT will go to housekeeping in their new furnished home. Mr. WRIGHT is superintendent of the Texas Gas & Oil Co. in Battle Creek, Mich. Newton JOHNSTON of Midway and Henry MCGREEVY of Canton, Ohio, brother and cousin of the bride, attended the wedding. Mrs. WRIGHT received a large number of beautiful gifts.
