The marriage of Miss Hughanna BURGAN, daughter of Mrs. Anna Sterling BURGAN of Highland avenue, Carnegie, and Robbin Bayard WOLF of Pittsburgh, son of the Rev. Mr. and Mrs. E. J. WOLF of Gettysburg, was solemnized in the Shadyside United Presbyterian church, Pittsburgh, at 7:30 o'clock Saturday night, July 12, 1924. Ferns, variegated bamboos and crotons, flanked with stone Grecian jars, filled with summer flowers, decorated the altar, and the service was read by the Rev. Dr. W. D. IRONS of McDonald, who had married the bride's father and mother. He was assisted by the Rev. Dr. Alonzo J. TURKLE, pastor of Trinity Lutheran church of the Northside. The bride, who was given in marriage by her brother, Sterling BURGAN, was gowned in ivory crepe diana combined with chiffon and embroidered with pearls, and built with a full court train with a yoke of rose point lace. Her tulle veil was secured with a coronet of the lace and orange blossoms, and she carried Prenet roses, dephinium and lilies of the valley. Mrs. Sterling BURGAN, as matron of honor, and Miss Elizabeth TAYLOR of Wilkinsburg, maid of honor, appeared in gowns of yellow lace. The bridesmaids were Miss Mildred EILER, Miss Agnes BROWN and Miss Barbara BUEHLER, wearing blue chiffon and lace; Miss Helen DORMAN, Miss Beatrice BROWN and Miss Eleanor HOYSRADT, in yellow chiffon and lace. Their flowers were Prenet roses and delphinium. John DeKalb KEITH of Gettysburg was best man, and the ushers included Taylor STRINGER of Baltimore, Md., Reginald G. BUEHLER of Williamstown, Mass., Robert E. WITHERS JR., H. Mark FOSS, Frederick GRABNER and James A. BAILEY of Pittsburgh. A reception and dinner followed the ceremony in the annex to the Pittsburgh Athletic association. Mrs. BURGAN was gowned in orchid chiffon and silver lace, with corsage of orchids. Covers were laid for thirty-four at the bride's table, and in addition to members of the bridal party those seated at the table were Mrs. Warren J. HOYSRADT of Bronxville, N.Y., Mrs. Roberta Wolf BUEHLER of Lakeville, Conn., Mr. and Mrs. John KIMERER, Mrs. Marcus FOLLANSBEE, Miss Dorothy SCOTT, John INGHAM, Walter INGHAM, Miss Esther ANAWALT, Charles KLINGER, Mrs. Frederick GRABNER, Reginald POLE and Mrs. John KEITH.

Rev. W. D. IRONS, D. D. on Wednesday evening, Oct. 11, at the parsonage, united in marriage Mr. Alexander WOOD, of McDonald, and Miss Martha LYKE, of Midway. They left on the evening train for a 10-days' trip. After their return they will go to house-keeping in Columbus, Ohio.

At high noon on Saturday, occurred the wedding of Miss Genevieve HOOVER of this city and Mr. Harvey O. WOOD of McKeesport, Pa., the ceremony being performed by Rev. Henry T. McCLELLAND, D. D., pastor of the First Presbyterian Church at The Manse. It was a very quiet affair. The bride is a graduate of the Clarksburg High School, class of 1910, and for the past year has been a very successful teacher. The groom holds a position with the PHILLIPS Sheet and Tin Plate Company.

Mr. and Mrs. WOOD will reside at Steubenville, Ohio, and will have
the good wishes of a large circle of friends.-- From the Clarksburg (W. Va) Exponent
