WINDSHEIMER - MITCHELL

Miss LaRue MITCHELL, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. E. MITCHELL of Vincennes avenue, Oakdale, and Sgt. William WINDSHEIMER of R.D. 1, Oakdale, stationed at Camp Shelby, Miss., were united in marriage at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 15, 1943, in the United Presbyterian church, Oakdale, by the pastor, the Rev. W. V. RITCHIE. The altar was adorned with ferns and summer flowers.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore white taffeta with matching accessories and carried a bouquet of white roses. Her sister, Miss Rose MITCHELL, as maid of honor, wore pink with matching accessories and she carried a bouquet of pink roses. Ralph WINDSHEIMER, brother of the bridegroom, served as bestman.

Following the ceremony, a reception was held in the home of the bridegroom's parents. The ... [remainder unreadable].

WINNING - DUSLER

The Crest View Presbyterian church of Columbus, Ohio, was the scene of a pretty late summer wedding at 4:30 p.m. Sunday, August 28, 1938, when Ross James WINNING, son of Mr. and Mrs. R. J. WINNING, Sr. of 173 Crest View Road, Columbus, took for his bride Miss Betty Gwen DUSLER, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George DUSLER of 317 Torrence road, Columbus. The bride, who was given in marriage by her father, wore a finger tip veil of bridal illusion and carried an arm bouquet of white gladiola and gypsophila. Her gown was of white satin trimmed with lace, having a slight train, and her tight sleeves came to a point over the hands. A band of orange blossoms held the bridal veil in place. Preceding her to the altar were Miss Helen DUSLER a sister of the bride, as maid of honor, Miss Lois McNall WINNING, sister of the groom, Miss Janet HUSTED of Dayton, Ohio, and Miss Margaret LUTZ. John Z. PELTON served as bestman for Mr. WINNING. Immediately following the ceremony, Mr. and Mrs. George DUSLER, parents of the bride, were hosts at a reception in their home. Over two hundred guests were present. Both the bride and bridegroom are graduates of Ohio State university. Mr. WINNING being a member of the Alpha Zeta fraternity. He is employed in the Sealtest Research laboratories in Cleveland. He is a grandson of James Alexander McNALL of north of McDonald.  Mr. and Mrs. Holland S. RUSSELL of Bridgeville, Mrs. James H. McNALL and son Jimmie of Rosslyn Farms, and Miss Gertrude McNALL of Wheeling W. Va., were among those who attended the wedding.

WINTER - FREDERICK

Miss Ethel June FREDERICK, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ceraphine PLUMERET and Anton WINTER, son of Mr. and Mrs. William WINTER of Mc Donald, were united in marriage at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 18, 1947, in the parsonage of the First U. P. church, McDonald. The pastor, the Rev. S. A. McCOLLAM, D. D. performed the double ring ceremony. The bride was attired in a blue suit with white accessories. The maid of honor, Miss Ann MAY of Montour No. 9 also wore a blue suit. Harold WINTER, brother of the bridegroom served as bestman. Mary Ann MAY of Montour No. 9 was the ring bearer. Following the ceremony, a wedding supper was served in the home of the bridegroom's parents in McDonald. Mrs. WINTER is a stenographer in a Pittsburgh Insurance office. Mr. WINTER is employed as a miner.
