STYPERK - WILCOX

Miss Stella Josephine STYPERK, daughter of Mr. Wm. STYPERK of Union avenue,
Oakdale and Mrs. James Thomas WILCOX, son of Mr. and Mrs. William WILCOX of
South Side, Oakdale, were united in marriage Tuesday morning, February 28, 1922,
at nine o'clock in St. Patrick's Roman Catholic church of Noblestown, the Rev.
D. J. COX, officiating. The bride wore a gown of white canton crepe, and her
tulle veil was arranged in cap effect with band of orange blossoms and she
carried a bouquet of white roses and lilies of the valley. Mary Geraldine
STYPERK, a sister of the bride, acting as maid of honor, wore a gown of pink
canton crepe and carried a bouquet of pink roses. Mr. George KINNEY of Oakdale
served as best man. Both the bride and groom were raised in this community and
have a large number of friends who wish them the best. Mr. WILCOX was employed
by the Carnegie Steel Company for a number of years and is known all over the
country for his efficiency in baseball. The wedding party took dinner at the
William Penn hotel, Pittsburgh, after which the young couple left for a short
visit with relatives at Monongahela City, returning on Friday in order to make
preparations for their departure to Texas on Sunday where Mr. WILCOX will go in
training for the Omaha Club of the Western League. They will later go to Omaha,

Peter WILCOXEN of Frankfort and Eunice PATTON of Imperial were united in marriage Saturday, March 4, 1939, at Crafton. The couple will reside at Frankfort, where Mr. WILCOXEN has a service station. Mrs. WILCOXEN was chief telephone operator at Imperial until it went dial recently.
