Marriage Notice for John Lee WHITE to Mary B. Weaver 25 Dec 1922 From the McDonald, PA Outlook newspaper of Dec. 29, 1922, page unknown:

Double Wedding
[ FEHL - WEAVER ]
[ WHITE - WEAVER ]

[Miss Mary B. WEAVER became the bride of John Lee WHITE, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. R. WHITE]  [ Miss Bertha J. WEAVER became the bride of Henry W. FEHL, son of Mr. and Mrs. M. FEHL.]

A double wedding, beautiful in all its appointments, was that of Monday afternoon (Christmas) when the daughters of F. R. WEAVER were married at four o'clock in their home in Chartiers township. Miss Mary B. WEAVER became the bride of John Lee WHITE, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. R. WHITE, and Miss Bertha J. WEAVER became the bride of Henry W. FEHL, son of Mr. and Mrs. M. FEHL.
The wedding service was read by the Rev. David DEMPSTER of the Central Presbyterian church, Canonsburg, who used the ring ceremony. Mr. DEMPSTER was assisted by the Rev. Dr. W. F. BROWN.

The brides were gowned in white canton crepe trimmed in pearl and orange blossoms. They carried bridal bouquets of white roses. The ceremony was performed in the living room before an embankment of ferns, begonias, and Christmas poinsettias. Miss Florence WHITE, sister of the bridegroom, played the wedding music. Following the ceremony a reception and wedding dinner was served. A bride's cake centered the bridal table, covers being laid for twelve. The home was elaborately decorated in Christmas colors. Upon their return from a wedding trip to Niagara Falls and Buffalo, Mr. and Mrs. WHITE will go to housekeeping in the J. R. WHITE home in Cecil township, and Mr. and Mrs. FEHL will reside with the bride's father, F. R. WEAVER.
