WHARTON - FULMER 

Mr. and Mrs. Elmer E. FULMER of Oakdale announce the marriage of their daughter Alice BARCROFT to Dr. Ralph E. WHARTON, son of Mr. and Mrs. E. C. WHARTON of Johnstown, Ohio. The ceremony was performed Monday afternoon, August 6, 1934, in the home of the bride, by the Rev. Dr. H. A. MOSSER of the Raccoon Presbyterian church, Candor. Dr. and Mrs. WHARTON left on a wedding trip to Canada. They will reside in Cleveland, Ohio. The bride attended Denison university in Granville, Ohio, and Dr. WHARTON attended Ohio Wesleyan and Western Reserve, receiving his degree from the latter institution.

WHITE - COWDEN

Mr. and Mrs. W. Lee COWDEN of R.D. 4, McDonald, announce the marriage of their daughter Laura to Pvt. Allen D. WHITE, Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. A.D. WHITE of Hickory.

The ceremony was performed Tuesday, November 24, 1942, in the First Presbyterian church, Galveston, Texas, by the Rev. Will R. JOHNSON.

Mrs. WHITE is residing with her parents while her husband is stationed at Camp Wallace, Texas.

Mr. and Mrs. E. R. McCARTY, of Hazel drive, Mt. Lebanon, former residents of McDonald, announce the marriage of their daughter, Miss Elizabeth Rose McCARTY and Cassius Gary WHITE, of Los Angeles, which was solemnized the evening of May 22nd in the Little Church of Flowers, Glendale, Cal., by the Rev. Ernest E. FORD, Mr. and Mrs. WHITE are visiting the latter?s parents and after July 1st will be at home in Los Angeles.

WHITE - GARRETT

Married at the home of the bride's parents, Primrose, on January 10, at 12 o'clock noon, Mr. George B. WHITE, of Patterson's Mills, and Miss Annie GARRETT.

The words uniting these two lives were spoken by Rev. J. P. JORDAN of McDonald, Pa., in the presence of a large number of invited guests from Cross Creek, Burgettstown and Wellsville, Ohio. The wedding presents were costly and numerous. The best wishes of all present for a long and happy life accompanied the bride and groom to their new home.

WHITE - LIPSCOMB

Miss Ruth LIPSCOMB, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence LIPSCOMB, and Howard WHITE of Baltimore, Md. were united in marriage at 7:30 p.m. September 14, 1946, in the parsonage of the Valley church by the Rev. Calvin LOGAN. Immediately following the ceremony a dinner was held in the bride's home for 30 relatives and friends. The young couple left for a week's visit to Baltimore, after which they will live in Imperial.
