Samuel WEISSBERG, son of Mrs. E. E. WEISSBERG and Miss Annabelle ROSEN of Oakland were united in marriage Saturday morning, July 27 in Wheeling, W.Va. Mr. and Mrs. WEISSBERG are making their home with the groom's mother in Third street. Mr. WEISSBERG is a McDonald High school graduate and is employed in the WEISSBERG Hardware store.

Miss Helen CHORBA, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George CHORBA of Pittsburgh, and August WEITZEL, son of Mr. and Mrs. August J. WEITZEL of Third street, McDonald, were united in marriage at 6:30 p.m. Saturday, September 9, 1939, in St. Paul?s Episcopal church, Philipsburg. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. W. F. LICHFIELD in the presence of the immediate families. The attendants were Mr. and Mrs. A. B. CONDON of Baltimore, Md., and the bride?s sister, Miss Betty CHORBA of Pittsburgh. A reception followed in the PASSAMORE Hotel, Philipsburg. The young couple motored to the New York World?s fair.  Mrs. WEITZEL graduated from a Pittsburgh high school and the Pittsburgh Academy. Mr. WEITZEL, a graduate of McDonald high school and of Pennsylvania State college, is employed by Remington Rand, Inc., and is stationed in Chicago.

WELCH of Houston, was solemnized Saturday, May 19, at the home of the officiating minister, Rev. H. F. HARKEY of Houston. After a wedding trip to Niagara Falls and other points of interest Mr. and Mrs. WELCH will be at home to their friends in Houston.
