WATT - McBRIDE WEDDING
Miss Christine Harriet McBRIDE, daughter of the Rev. Dr. and Mrs. Francis Scott McBRIDE, and Mr. Robert Lewis WATT, son of Mrs. Robert Ross WATT of Barnesville, Ohio, were married Wednesday morning, June 22, 1932, in Washington, D.C. The ceremony was performed in the Wallace Memorial United Presbyterian church, the bride's father officiating, at 10 o'clock, assisted by the pastor of the church, the Rev. Dr. C.E. HAWTHORNE. The church had an effective arrangement of palms, ferns and early summer flowers.
The bride's costume was of shell pink mousseline de soie, gracefully modeled to her figure, the skirt flaring toward the bottom. Her quaint little cap of shell pink tulle was becoming, and she carried pink roses.
Mrs. Arthur ARMSTRONG of McDonald, Pa., was her sister's matron of honor, and wore a gown similar to that of the bride, in blue mousseline de soie. A large picture hat of pink and a cluster of pink roses completed the costume.
The Rev. Mr. A. R. ARMSTRONG was best man, and their small son Scott ARMSTRONG was a page, wearing short black satin trousers and a white silk blouse.
Following the wedding a breakfast was served in the Mayflower hotel, and later Mr. and Mrs. WATT started for a wedding trip. On its completion they will make their home in Barnesville, Ohio.

WAUTHIER - CARELLE
Miss Julia CARELLE, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John CARELLE, of Presto, and Jules WAUTHIER, son of Mr. and Mrs. Paul WAUTHIER of McDonald, were united in marriage at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, June 21, 1947, in the First U. P. church, McDonald. The pastor, the Rev. S. A. McCOLLAM, D. D., performed the single ring ceremony.
The bride wore a white taffeta gown with a long train. Her fingertip veil was held in place with a crown of crystal beads and she carried an arm bouquet of white roses and white snapdragons. The maid of honor, Miss Mary CARELLE, sister of the bride, wore an orchid gown with matching headdress and she carried an arm bouquet of yellow roses. Carl EILER of McDonald served as bestman. The church organist, Mrs. I. P. LAVIE, played the wedding music.
In the afternoon a wedding dinner was served to 50 guests in the home of the bride's parents. A three-tiered cake formed the table centerpiece. A reception for 200 guests was held in the evening in the Italian club in Bridgeville.
The bride is a graduate of Cecil high school and is employed in the A. & P., Carnegie. The bridegroom, a graduate of McDonald high school, is employed in the express office. McDonald. Upon their return from a trip to Allentown the young couple will reside with the bride's parents.

WEBB - BROOKS
Miss Betty BROOKS, daughter of Mrs. Doris BROOKS of Johns avenue, McDonald and William WEBB, son of Mr. and Mrs. Lamar WEBB of Valley street, McDonald, were united in marriage at 2:30 p.m. on Thanksgiving day, November 28, 1946, in the WEBB home. The Rev. C. T. HUGHES, pastor of the Caldwell A.M.E. Zion church, performed the ceremony before an altar adorned with a large bouquet of pink chrysanthemums.
The bride wore a royal blue dress trimmed with black sequins. Her corsage was gold chrysanthemums, red roses, and a gold and blue willow plume tied with blue satin ribbon. The bride's sister, Mrs. Gertrude PATTERSON of West Middletown, was matron of honor. She wore an orchid suit with a corsage of white roses. Gordon WEBB of McDonald served as bestman. Miss Griselda WEBB sang "Oh Promise Me" accompanied at the piano by Miss Jeannetta WEBB.
Following the ceremony a dinner was served. A large wedding cake formed the centerpiece.
The bride, a 1945 graduate of McDonald high school, is in training in the West Penn Hospital.
The bridegroom is a 1942 graduate of McDonald high school and at present is employed by the Pennsylvania
railroad. He served three years in the navy, 22 months of which were spent overseas. He was honorably discharged on May 1m 1946, as a yeoman first-class.
