[ WALLACE-WOODBURY ]

WHO ARE THEY?

The Outlook this week received the Weaverville, Trinity County, California Journal in which is marked a well written detailed account of the marriage of James Addison WALLACE and a Miss WOODBURY. Both bride and groom are said to be natives of that county. Mr. and Mrs. J. C. WALLACE, John, George and Emma WALLACE are mentioned among those who made presents. None of our numerous friends of the WALLACE families about McDonald can tell who these people are. In the meantime a subscription comes by mail from Miss Emma WALLACE, Junction City, Trinity county.

P.S.--The Outlook reporter running about making inquiries finds Mr. Samuel STURGEON and from him it is learned that Mr. J. C. WALLACE, the father of the groom on this ocassion [sic] is a brother of Mrs. Samuel STURGEON, deceased.  Mr. WALLACE was born and raised near COULTER'S Mill on MILLER'S Run. He was married to Miss Letitia ROBB, sister of Miss Mary ROBB, of Noblestown, and of 'Squire G. K. ROBB, deceased Mr. Wallace and his wife went to California thirty-five years ago where they both live to-day. In the list of presents appear the following: [gifts not typed here, just the givers]... Mr. and Mrs. J. C. WALLACE; ...., John, George and Emma WALLACE; ...., Emma WALLACE.  Then follow an [sic=a] hundred or more others, indicating that the WALLACE family is one of the most prosperous and popular in that part of California.
