Mrs. F. E. BEERS of Wilkinsburg announces the marriage of her daughter Catherine [BEERS] to Carl WACKER, son of Mr. and Mrs. P. H. WACKER of Sturgeon. The ceremony was performed March 31, 1939, by the Rev. Seth RUSSELL in his home in Lemont, Centre county. The young couple intend to go to housekeeping in Mt. Lebanon.

A very pretty wedding was solemnized July 5th at 9 a. m. in the St. Alphonsus' church when Miss Grace B. MULLIGAN, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. P. J. MULLIGAN of McDonald became the bride of Charles A. WACKER, son of Nicholas WACKER of Oakdale. The bride was gowned in white canton crepe, with a veil held by orange blossoms and carried sweetheart roses and lilies of the valley. They were attended by Mr. and Mrs. William GIBSON of Oakdale. Mrs. GIBSON, a sister of the bride, wore pink canton crepe with hat to match and
carried pink roses. The marriage service was read by Rev. J. A. BURGOON.

Mr. WACKER is a graduate of the Oakdale high school and is employed as a salesman for the Pure Oil company. Following the marriage service a wedding breakfast was held in the home of the bride's parents, with only the immediate families present. The floral piece for the bride's table was orange blossoms. After a short wedding trip Mr. and Mrs. WACKER will make their home in Oakdale.

WADE - STEELE

Miss Dorothy STEELE, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John STEELE of Sturgeon, and Eugene WADE of Ambridge, son of Mrs. Emma WADE of Beaver, were united in marriage at 6:30 p.m. Saturday, September 21, 1946, in the Noblestown United Presbyterian church, the Rev. R.L. LANNING officiating.
The bride wore a costume suit of royal blue with matching hat and brown accessories. Her corsage was of red roses and babies' breath. Mrs. John REBERT of Carlisle, sister of the bride, was matron of honor and wore a light blue suit with brown accessories and a corsage of pink roses. Mr. John REBERT served as bestman. The bride's mother was dressed in teal blue and the bridegroom's mother in a fuchsia suit.

Following the ceremony, a reception for 90 guests was held in the American Legion home at which a buffet lunch was served.

The bride graduated from McDonald high school in 1929 and is employed at the Ludwick Hummel Co. in Pittsburgh. The bridegroom attended Midway high school and is employed by the National Supply Co., Ambridge. After a motor trip through the State of Virginia the newlyweds will be at home with the bride's parents in Sturgeon.

The marriage of Miss Grace REHAK, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Michael REHAK of the westend, McDonald, and Mr. William Robert WADE of Carnegie, was performed by the Rev. Fr. J. A. BURGOON, pastor of St. Alphonsus' church, McDonald, in the parochial residence at nine o'clock Monday morning, February 15, 1926. Miss Rose PIVAK of Greenfield avenue, Pittsburgh, was the bridesmaid, and Mr. Joseph REHAK, brother of the bride, was best man. After a short wedding trip Mr. and Mrs. WADE will reside temporarily in Carnegie.
