VINCENTI - YATES

Mr. and Mrs. William YATES of Indianola announce the marriage of their daughter Miss Laura to Arthur VINCENTI of R.D. 4, McDonald, son of Mrs. Katherine VINCENTI and the late Dominick VINCENTI.

The couple were married at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, March 20, 1943, in the Robinson's Run United Presbyterian church, McDonald. The pastor, the Rev. G. M. McKNIGHT, D.D., performed the ceremony.

The bride wore a light blue costume suit with light and navy blue accessories and a corsage of mixed flowers. She was attended by the bridegroom's sister, Miss Joanne VINCENTI, who wore a light blue suit with navy blue accessories and a corsage of mixed flowers. Charles E. KARNS, Jr., of R.D. 4, McDonald, served as bestman.

VICENTI - BALDIGOWSKI

Miss Anne BALDIGOWSKI, daughter of Mrs. Rose BALDIGOWSKI of R.D. 1, McDonald, and Lewis VICENTI of Primrose, were united in marriage at 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 17, 1946, in St. Alphonsus' church, McDonald. The Rev. Fr. J. A. BURGOON performed the single ring ceremony. The wedding music was played by Mrs. WILSON and Miss Madelon WHYTE sang "Ave Maria."

The bride, given in marriage by her brother, Ernest BALDIGOWSKI, was attired in a white nylon gown with sweetheart neckline and long sleeves. Her fingertip veil fell from a tiara of white silk braid entwined with orange blossoms and she carried a bouquet of white roses. The maid of honor, Miss Clara BALDIGOWSKI, sister of the bride, wore an aqua gown with white accessories and she carried yellow roses. The bridesmaids were Miss Joan VICENTI, sister of the bridegroom, who wore a white gown with matching headdress and carried a bouquet of pink roses, and Miss Louise MOTTE of McDonald, who wore a pink gown with matching cap and carried a bouquet of red roses. Raymond VICENTI, brother of the bridegroom, served as bestman and the ushers were Karl POSNIK of Imperial and Louis KESSLER of McDonald. The bride's mother wore navy blue with matching accessories and a corsage of white rosebuds. The bridegroom's mother, being a patient in the Mercy hospital, was unable to be present.

Following the ceremony, a reception for 130 guests was held in the home of the bride's mother, with 14 seated at the bride's table. They are residing with the bridegroom's mother in Primrose.

Mrs. VICENTI attended Midway high school and is employed in the A. & P. Super Market, McDonald. Mr. VICENTI was recently discharged from the army after serving three years, two of which were spent in the European theater. He plans to take up his employment in Bridgeville in the near future.

The bride is a granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Anthony RENKO and graduated from Cecil high school.  Mr. VINTH graduated from Canonsburg high school.

VIRANT - PLESKOVITCH

Announcement is made of the marriage of Josephine PLESKOVITCH of Strabane and Frank VIRANT, son of Mr. and Mrs. John VIRANT of Imperial, which took place Saturday, May 15, 1937, in the home of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph NOVAK in Alexander avenue, Strabane.

The bride wore blue chiffon with white accessories and a corsage of sweet peas and roses. The wedding ceremony was performed by Justice of the Peace J.C. Kerr. Mr. and Mrs. Joseph NOVAK attended the couple.

A dinner was served to the immediate families following the ceremony, and later the couple left on a honeymoon trip to Cleveland. Upon their return they will reside in Imperial.
