Miss Margaret WILKINSON of Hickory and Mr. George A. THOMPSON of near Venice were united in marriage on Saturday evening, September 2, 1922, at five o'clock, the Rev. B. B. HARRISON reading the beautiful ring ceremony in the manse of the First Presbyterian church of McDonald. Mr. THOMPSON is a nephew of W. S. BARNETT. The young couple will go to housekeeping on the farm of the groom.

THOMPSON - CARLIER
The marriage of Miss Emma CARLIER, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Eli CARLIER of McDonald, and Mr. Robert THOMPSON, son of Mrs. Sarah THOMPSON of Canonsburg, was solemnized on Wednesday, October 3, 1928, at twelve o'clock, in Crafton in the home of the Rev. J.C. ALLISON, brother-in-law of the bridegroom, who officiated. The bride was attired in a brown and tan ensemble and carried an arm bouquet of yellow roses. Miss Emma
VANDALE, who was her only attendant, also wore a brown ensemble and a corsage of pink roses. Mr. Archie SMITH of Canonsburg was best man. After a motor trip Mr. and Mrs. THOMPSON will go to Avella, where they will take up residence. They will be at home to their friends after October 25th.

THOMPSON - CARLIER
The marriage of Miss Emma CARLIER, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Eli CARLIER of Liberty street, to Robert THOMPSON, son of Mrs. Sarah THOMPSON, Greenside avenue, Canonsburg, took place Wednesday noon of last week in the home of the groom's brother-in-law, Rev. John ALLISON of Crafton, with members of the immediate families and a few friends present. Following the ceremony, the newlyweds left on a honeymoon trip to the Lakes. Mr. Thompson has accepted a position at Avella, where he and his bride will make their home.
