SUTTON - STURGEON
The marriage of Miss Althea STURGEON, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Wallace STURGEON of Whittengale road, Oakdale, and Donald P. SUTTON of 3237 Middletown road, Pittsburgh, was solemnized Saturday, June 7, 1941, at two o'clock in the home of the bride's parents by the Rev. William A. HADDON of
Harmarville.
The attendants were Mrs. Hugh J. HORNER, sister of the bridegroom, and Mr. LeRoy STURGEON, brother of the bride.
Following the ceremony there was a reception in the home for about thirty-five guests.
Mr. and Mrs. SUTTON left for a short wedding trip and upon their return will reside at 437 Highland avenue, Oakdale.

ALLISON - SUTTON
[SUTTON is the Groom.]
The Harkaway Farm just east of town was the scene of a pretty wedding on Thursday evening, June 21, 1917, when Miss Susan Spencer ALLISON and Mr. Steven Howard SUTTON of Woodlawn were united in marriage by the Rev. J. P. JORDAN, D.D., pastor of the First Presbyterian Church of McDonald, assisted by the Rev. A. B. ALLISON a cousin of the bride. The decorations were carried out in pink and white. Mrs. Ralph RETZER, a recent bride, was matron of honor, and I. McDonald SUTTON, a brother of the groom, was best man. Agnes Craig GARBY was flower girl and Rose MULLIGAN was ring bearer. Miss Hazel BOWMAN, a cousin of the bride, played the wedding march. Following the ceremony a wedding dinner was served, after which Mr. and Mrs. SUTTON left for a trip to the Lakes. On their return they will make their home at Woodlawn.
