evening in the J. F. BAIER home in East Lincoln avenue.  Present were Mr. and Mrs. Harry DANIELS, Mr. and Mrs. Kermit RUSSELL, Miss Eileen GARDINER, Andrew EILER, Floyd SCOTT, and Mr. and Mrs. J. F. BAIER.

The marriage of Miss Pearle Rachel LEWIS and Mrs. Herman STRIMEL took place at 4:30 o?clock Monday afternoon, June 4, 1917, at the home of the officiating minister, the Rev. W. D. IRONS, D. D. The young couple were unattended. The bride wore a suit of blue taffetas and a white hat, Mrs. STRIMEL is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas L. LEWIS of R. D. 2, McDonald. The groom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Leon STRIMEL of the South Side, and is employed at the Skelly yards of the Pennsylvania Railroad Co. Mr. and Mrs. STRIMEL will live in McDonald.

Mr. and Mrs. John E. BENTREM of Westland announce the marriage of their daughter Miss Mary Jane to Staff Sergeant Rosier E. STRIMEL of Camp Gordon, Ga., son of Adlin J. STRIMEL of Canonsburg.

The couple were married Saturday, October 10, 1942, at 8:00 p.m. in the Houston U.P. church, the Rev. E. L. HANEY officiating. The couple were attended by Miss Dorothy ALLSHOUSE of Westland and Norman STRIMEL of Canonsburg. 

Mrs. STRIMEL is a 1938 graudate of Midway high school and is now employed at the Federal Supply Co. store at Westland. She plans to join her husband when possible.

Announcement has just been made that Miss Frances J. OBLAK, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Matthew OBLAK of Venice, and Frank J. STRUPEK, son of Mr. and Mrs. Martin STRUPEK, Sr., of R.D. 1, McDonald, were united in marriage Thursday evening, June 8, 1939, in Wellsburg. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. J. BILLINGS.

The bride wore a blue crepe street-length dress with matching accessories. The maid of honor and only attendant, Miss Jean KELLEY of Wellsburg, wore similar attire. A reception will be held this Saturday evening in the home of the bride's parents. Mr. and Mrs. STRUPEK will reside with the bridegroom's parents.
