The announcement has been made of the marriage of Miss Emma Irene WASHABAUGH, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. George WASHABAUGH, formerly of Oakdale, Pa., now of Cleveland, Ohio, to Cloyd Ray STEWART, son of Mr. and Mrs. W. D. STEWART of Cleveland, Ohio, which took place on Thursday, July 17, 1923 in the Federated church of Cleveland, Ohio. Rev. E. WRIGHT officiated. The bride wore a gown of blue georgette and a picture hat to match and carried a corsage of pink rose buds. The bride was born and raised in Oakdale and has many friends who wish her much happiness. The groom was formerly from Galion, Ohio, but for the past four years has been a resident of Cleveland, O. Mr. and Mrs. STEWART will reside at 10128 Adelaide avenue, Cleveland, Ohio.

J. Harold STEWART, son of Mr. and Mrs. L. E. STEWART of Burgettstown, and Miss Verda A. FLEMING, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. S. FLEMING of Burgettstown, were united in marriage Tuesday, September 18, 1928, at ten o'clock, in the home of the officiating minister, Rev. W. M. HAYS of the First Presbyterian church of Burgettstown. The only attendants were Mr. and Mrs. John L. CULLEY, the latter being a sister of the bridegroom. Mr. STEWART has been employed as a clerk in the Burgettstown postoffice several years, while the bride, who was formerly a school teacher, has been living at home for some time. After an extended automobile trip, Mr. and Mrs. STEWART will be at home to their friends in Burgettstown.
