Miss Marie D. MACE, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. H. W. MACE of Tippecanoe, Ohio, and George O. STEVENSON of Massillon, Ohio, son of Mr. and Mrs. John R. STEVENSON of Fannie street, McDonald, were united in marriage, Thursday, February 29, 1940, in Ohio. Mrs. STEVENSON is a graduate of the Freeport, Ohio high school and the Massillon city hospital of nursing.  She is head nurse of the Berger division, Republic Steel Corporation, Canton, Ohio. Mr. STEVENSON is a 1935 graduate of McDonald high school and the Massillon Business college. He is employed in the office of the Republic Steel Corporation, Massillon, Ohio. They are at home at 904 Andrew avenue, N.E., Massillon, Ohio.

The announcement of the marriage to McDonald friends was made on the occasion of the young couple's visit here Sunday evening.

STEVENSON - HERON

A pretty home wedding took place at 7:30 o'clock Saturday evening, June 23, 1928, when Miss Dorothy Ellen HERON, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles HERON of Fayette street, became the bride of Harold Edward STEVENSON, son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert STEVENSON of Raccoon. The bride wore a gown of pink georgette and carried pink rosebuds. Her niece, June Lee ANNIS of McKeesport, was flower girl and was dressed in yellow taffeta silk and carried a basket of pink rose petals. Before an  embankment of roses and ferns the marriage service was read by the bride's pastor, the Rev. J. Melvin KEYES of the First Presbyterian church. After a short trip Mr. and Mrs.  STEVENSON will be at home with the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles HERON. The bride is a graduate of Oakdale high school and the Liberty Business college and is employed by the West Penn Cement Co. Mr. STEVENSON is a graduate of Burgettstown high school and a business college, and is in the employ of Mr. HUBBARD, the shovel manufacturer. Those present at the wedding were Mr. and Mrs. Charles HERON, Mr. and Mrs. Robert  STEVENSON of Raccoon, Mr. and Mrs. Merle HERON of McDonald, Mrs. Harry ANNIS and June Lee ANNIS of McKeesport, Mr. and Mrs. A. P. HERON, George HERON, and Junior HERON of Oakdale, Mr. and Mrs. Sidney HOLMAN of Brentwood, Mr. and Mrs. Howard HERON of Carnegie, Miss Ethelton and Miss Hazel STEVENSON of Raccoon, Mr. DUNBAR and William BOYLES of Burgettstown, Alfred SHANNON of Pittsburgh, the Rev. Mr. and Mrs. J. Melvin KEYES of Oakdale, Miss Aline [BOVARD] and Miss Mary BOVARD of Oakdale. A dainty lunch was served by Mrs. ANNIS, Mrs. HOLMAN, and Miss Hazel STEVENSON.

The wedding of Miss Dorothy Edna KELSO of McDonald and Dr. Malcolm Stewart STEVENSON of Finleyville took place at 3:30 o'clock Saturday afternoon, September 5, 1936, in the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Wilson KELSO, north of McDonald. The Rev. Scott Aiken McCOLLAM, pastor of the First United Presbyterian church of McDonald, officiated. The bride was given in marriage by her father. Mrs. Fred B. KELSO of Mankato, Minn., was matron of honor and the bride's sister, Miss Mary KELSO, was junior bridesmaid. The bridegroom was attended by Mr. John R. KELSO, the bride's brother. The bride's gown was of ivory velvet. Her fingertip veil was fastened with orange blossoms, and she carried white roses. The matron of honor wore royal blue velvet and carried red roses. The bridesmaid was attired in magenta velvet and carried yellow roses and delphinium. The wedding music was played by Mrs. Wilbert DAVIDSON. Mrs. William G. COOK sang "O Promise Me." A reception for fifty guests followed the ceremony. Fourteen were seated at the bride's table. Dr. and Mrs. STEVENSON have gone on an Eastern trip. On their return they will be at home in Finleyville, where the bridegroom has an established medical practice. He is a son of Mr. and Mrs. W.R. STEVENSON of Monongahela, and graduated from Muskingum college and the University of Pennsylvania Medical school. The bride since her graduation from Muskingum college has been a teacher in the North Fayette high school.

Mrs. Rachel T. McGREW of Third street announces the marriage of her niece, Miss Rachel T. GRUBB, to Robert L. STEVENSON, son of Mr. and Mrs. John STEVENSON of Fannie street, which took place Friday, December 14, 1934, at 4:30 p.m., in the home of the bride. The Rev. Dr. O. E. GARDNER, pastor of the First Presbyterian church, officiated, the single ring ceremony being used. The bride was gowned in colonial blue velvet and wore a corsage of yellow tea roses and snapdragons. The wedding music was played by Miss Marguerite ALLISON. The young couple are graduates of the McDonald high school, and the bride is a graduate of Indiana Teachers' college. Mr. STEVENSON is employed by the McDonald Savings and Trust Co. After a short trip Mr. and Mrs. STEVENSON will reside at 205 Fourth street.
