STEELE - ADAMS
Miss Hazel ADAMS, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harry ADAMS of Florence, and Leon M. STEELE, son of Mr. and Mrs. Melvin STEELE of
Bolair, W. Va., were united in marriage Saturday, June 28, at 3:00 p.m. in the Florence Presbyterian church. Rev. W. H. FLURKEY
officiated at the single ring ceremony.
The bride was attired in a salmon colored street-length dress with white accessories. She carried a bouquet of white rosebuds with a background of lilies of the valley.
The maid of honor was her sister, Miss Mary ADAMS of Wheeling, W. Va., who wore a beige street-length dress with white accessories and a corsage of talisman roses.
Miss Helen ROLLAGE of Eldersville, friend of the bride, as bridesmaid, also wore a beige street-length dress with white accessories with a corsage of tailsman
[sic=talisman?] roses.
Earl GEORGE of Uniontown, Ohio, uncle of the bridegroom, served as bestman for his nephew and the ushers were Wayne BRIMNER of Florence and Donald ACKMAN of Frankfort Springs.
Immediately following the ceremony a reception for 50 guests was held in the home of the bride's parents.
The couple left for a two weeks motor trip to Illinois and upon their return will reside in Florence.

STEELE - FRUM
The marriage of Ellen Jane FRUM and William E. STEELE took place Saturday, July 15, 1939, in the Methodist
parsonage, Morgantown, W.Va., with the Rev. William W. SUTTON performing the ceremony. The only witnesses at
the ceremony were an aunt and two cousins of the bride,
Mrs. George FRUM and Mrs. Georgia TENNETT of Morgantown and Mrs. Josephine JERALD of New York City. Following
the ceremony, a wedding dinner was served in the home of the bride's aunt, with sixteen relatives in the guest
list. The bride formerly resided in Morgantown, having graduated there from the high school with the class of
1925 and later completed a course in Beauty Culture at the Molar Beauty School in Cincinnati, Ohio. She was an
operator both in Morgantown and Uniontown. Mr. STEELE,
a resident of McDonald, is a well-known Gas & Oil contractor. His work is now in Irwin and when completed he had his
bride will take a two weeks vacation. Upon their return they will reside in McDonald.

Miss Mary E. RICHARDS and Herman STEFFEN, both of McDonald [Pa], were
married Thursday evening of last week at the Presbyterian parsonage by
the Rev. J. P. JORDAN. They will go to housekeeping on Valley
street.

STEFFEN - SCOTT
Miss Eleanor R. SCOTT, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. C. E. SCOTT of Coal street, McDonald, and John A. STEFFEN of Johns avenue,
McDonald, son of Mr. and Mrs. A. E. STEFFEN of Wellsville, Ohio, were united in marriage at 3:45 o'clock Saturday afternoon,
September 4, 1937, in the First United Presbyterian manse, McDonald, the Rev.
S. A. McCOLLAM, pastor, officiating. The bride was attired in a royal blue velvet street length gown
with matching accessories and wore a corsage of roses baby breath, and gladiolus. The bridesmaid, Miss Edith SCOTT,
sister of the bride, was attired in black and blue with blue accessories and wore a corsage of roses, baby breath, and
gladiolus. Mr. George McWILLIAMS of Canonsburg was the best man. Miss Veronica SPILLANE of Houston accompanied them to
the parsonage. A reception was held in the home of the bride's parents. There were twelve guests. The table decorations
consisted of green and white candles and a green and white wedding cake. As this was the twenty-first birthday of the
bride, a large birthday cake with twenty-one green and white candles, was also a table decoration. The young couple left
on a honeymoon trip to Niagara Falls. Upon their return they will reside at 127 Coal street, McDonald.
Mrs. STEFFEN is a graduate of the Hickory high school and is employed at the
Pittsburgh Coal washer.
Guests present at the reception were A. E. STEFFEN, son Arthur, and Charles PALMER of Wellsville, Ohio, Miss Veronica SPILLANE
of Houston, George MCWILLIAMS of Canonsburg, Miss Alverda SCOTT of Hickory, Ifford MILLIRON of Brentwood, and Mr. and
Mrs. Chris HYSER, Jr., and daughter Pattiann, Charles PASCOE, and Mrs. Edward BRABSON of McDonald.
