SRAY - ZALAZNIK


Lillian ZALAZNIK, daughter of Frnak ZALAZNIK of Bulger, and William SRAY, son of Mrs. SRAY of Cuddy, were united in marriage at 8:30 a.m. Saturday, February 22, 1941, in St. Barbara's church, Bridgeville, the Rev. Joseph E. PIKUTIC officiating. Della ZALAZNIK, sister of the bride,
was maid of honor and John SRAY, brother of the bridegroom, was bestman.

The bride chose as her bridal dress a princess styled gown of white marquisette, with the lily of the valley design sprinkled with gold, and a blushing bride finger tip veil with military styled cap. Her bouquet was of calla lilies and fern. The maid of honor wore a blue rayon taffeta gown and a tiara hat. Her bouquet was of pink roses and snapdragons. 

After the ceremony the bride and bridegroom and party returned to the bride's home where an early dinner was served. In the evening a reception was held with guests from Canonsburg, Bridgeville, Primrose, Dormont, and Eightyfour. The bride and bridegroom received many beautiful and useful gifts. After the reception they went to their newly furnished home near Bridgeville.

Marriage Notice for Ward ST. CLAIR to Viola Burns, 28 Oct 1924 From the McDonald, PA Outlook newspaper of Nov. 7, 1924, page unknown:

[ ST. CLAIR is the Groom. ]


Miss Viola BURNS, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Martin BURNS of Bulger, and Mr. Ward ST. CLAIR, son of Mr. and Mrs. Alva ST. CLAIR of R. D. 3, Dresden, Ohio, were married on Tuesday, October 28, 1924, at the home of the bride in Bulger. At 12:30 a wedding dinner was served at the bride's home, thirty guests being present. Mr. ST. CLAIR is employed with the Westinghouse Battery company. The young couple spent a week with Mr. ST. CLAIR's parents and then will go to Swissvale, where they will make their home.

Percival Stephen STAHLNECKER of Hamburg, Pa., secretary to former Governor Giford PINCHOT, and Mrs. Edith LOWRY FLANAGAN of Pittsburgh [Pa], who was employed by the ex-governor as social secretary until recently were married June 2nd at the Community church, New York City.

Mrs. STAHLNECKER is a daughter of the late Frank LOWRY, a former resident of McDonald [Pa] and who had the Harkaway Hunt club here some years ago.

STAHLNECKER - FLANAGAN


Percival Stephen STAHLNECKER of Hamburg, Pa., secretary to the former Governor Gifford PINCHOT, and Mrs. Edith Lowry FLANAGAN of Pittsburgh, who was employed by the ex-governor as social secretary until recently, were married Saturday, June 2, 1928, in the Community church, New York. STAHLNECKER was divorced last March at Reno from Lorraine H. STAHLNECKER. 

Former Governor and Mrs. Gifford PINCHOT were among the few guests at the informal ceremony. Others were Mrs. Flanagan's mother, Mrs. Marcia LOWRY of Pittsburgh; her brother, Edgar LOWRY; Dr. and Mrs. Alexander RUSSELL of New York, Judge John S. FINE, Wilkes-Barre, and F. F. NICCOLA of Pittsburgh. 

After a week's trip in this country they will sail for Europe on June 9.

Mrs. FLANAGAN is a daughter of Frank LOWRY, a former resident of McDonald. She lived here as a young woman, when her father was the leading spirit in the Harkaway Hunt club.
