SPILLANE - DAUDET
Golda May DAUDET, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank DAUDET of Midway, and John A. SPILLANE, son of
P.J. SPILLANE of Houston, were married at the rectory of Immaculate Conception church, Washington, at 9 o'clock Saturday, August 21, 1937, by the Rev. Father
M.J. HUGHES. The bride wore royal blue crepe with accessories of navy. Her corsage was of white roses and
babybreath. Mrs. E.W. MAHAN of West Alexander, her only attendant, wore black chiffon velvet with matching accessories and her corsage was of red roses. Dr. E.W. MAHAN acted as best man. A wedding breakfast at the George Washington hotel followed the ceremony.
Mr. and Mrs. SPILLANE left for a trip to Rochester, N.Y., and will visit points of interest in Canada. Upon their return, they will be at home to their friends in Midway.
Mrs. SPILLANE has taught in the Smith aownship [sic=township ] schools for several years.
Mr. SPILALNE [sic] is in business in Houston.

RODGERS - SPINNENWEBER
[ SPINNENWEBER is the Groom. ]
At seven-thirty o'clock Wednesday morning, January 24th in St. Alphonsus' church of McDonald Miss Irene Gertrude RODGERS, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles RODGERS, Sr. of Laurel hill, and Mr. Edward SPINNENWEBER of Liberty street, were united in marriage by the Rev. Joseph A. BURGOON. The bridal party entered the church to the strains of Lohengrin's "Bridal Chorus," played by Miss Jeanette RANDOUR of Station street. Miss RANDOUR also played "Oh Promise Me" during the ceremony. The bride, who was given in marriage by her father, wore a traveling suit of dark brown with a hat to match and carried a shower bouquet of brides roses and lilies of the valley. Miss Kathryn RODGERS was her sister's maid of honor and wore a traveling suit of dark blue with a silver hat and wore a corsage bouquet of pink rosebuds. Mr. Arthur RANDOUR of Station street was Mr. SPINNENWEBER's best man. A wedding breakfast at the home of the bride supplemented the ceremony. Mr. and Mrs. SPINNENWEBER will reside for the present at 139 Liberty street. Mr. SPINNENWEBER is employed by the Selden Chemical Co. in Westend, Pittsburgh.

SPANKLE - PATTERSON
Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Donald SPRANKLE (Marguerite Everett
PATTERSON) are on a wedding trip in the East following their marriage on
June 2, 1934, in the home of the bride's parents Mr. and Mrs. George Guy
PATTERSON in Edgewood. The Rev. Dr. Walter L. MOSER of the Edgewood
Presbyterian church read the service.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a white satin
princess gown and a lace veil arranged under a cap trimmed with orange
blossoms. Her flowers were gardenias and lilies of the valley.
Miss Vera PATTERSON, her sister's maid of honor, was in pink organza,
and carried roses and larkspur. Miss Wathleen PERSHING, a cousin
of the bride, in blue organza and Miss Vera SPRANKLE, sister of the
bridegroom, in peach organza, were bridesmaids. Both carried
garden flowers.
John j. DeVILLARS of Noblestown was the best man, and the ushers were
Blair K. PATTERSON and Wayne R SPRANKLE. Miss Ruth TONKIN played
the wedding marches and Mrs. Walter L. MOSER sang. The young
couple will be at home at 726 East End avenue, Edgewood.
