Miss Edith McGINNIS, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Stewart McGINNIS of Champion hill, Sturgeon, and Mr. Alexander
SOUFFRANT, also of Sturgeon, were united in marriage in Pittsburgh on Tuesday, November 21, 1922, at half-past two, the Rev. J. H.
DEBOLT, pastor of the McDonald Methodist Episcopal church, officiating. The young couple will go to housekeeping on Champion hill, where they have a home already furnished.

[ SOUFFRANT is the Groom. ]
The marriage of Miss Catherine WHITE, daughter of Mrs. Elizabeth WHITE of Fort Pitt, and William SOUFFRANT, of Sturgeon, was solemnized Wednesday morning, June
16 [1926], in St. Luke's church, Carnegie. The Rev. Fr. Leo A. MCCRORY performed the ceremony before a nuptial high mass.
The bride's sister, Miss Mary WHITE, was bridesmaid, and William FOSTER of Pittsburgh was best man. A wedding breakfast at the home of the bride followed the ceremony.
Mr. and Mrs. SOUFFRANT will reside in Duquesne heights.

On Tuesday, May 7th, at the home of Mrs. Mildred SOULES on the South Side, Ben B. SOULES of McDonald, and Miss Mary Ella McCOMBS of Burgettstown, were united in marriage by the Rev. Wm. Malcolm
BUZZA, pastor of the Methodist Episcopal church. The ceremony was performed at 5:30 p.m., after which a bountiful supper was served. The young couple left on the 8:53 train for Pittsburg. They will make their home at Cross Creek, Pa., where Mr. SOULES is employed in the oil field. Mr.
SOULES' friends join in wishing him much success and happiness.

SOVA - METRO
Mr. and Mrs. Michael METRO of Marion avenue announce the marriage of their daughter, Miss Mary A. METRO, to Michael SOVA of Farrell. The ceremony was performed with nuptial high mass Wednesday morning, September 30, 1936, in St. Patrick's church,
Noblestown, the Rev. Fr. KEANE officiating.
The bride was attired in a white satin bridal gown with a train and cap of small seed pearls and carried a bouquet of white roses. Mrs.
E. N. PIFFICK of Youngstown, the maid of honor, was attired in a pink satin gown with matching accessories and carried a bouquet of pink rose buds. Miss Anna METRO of Oakdale, sister of the bride, one of the bridesmaids, was attired in a pink satin brocade with matching accessories. Miss Anna KONECKI of Oakdale, the other bridesmaid, was attired in a light blue satin brocade. Both girls carried tone roses. Mr. John METRO, brother of the bride, was the best man. The ushers were Steven SOVA of Farrell, brother of the bridegroom, and E. N. PIFFICK of Youngstown. After the ceremony a
reception and wedding dinner was held in the home of the bride's parents. After the dinner the young couple left on a motor trip through the Canadian North. On their return they will reside in Marion avenue, Oakdale. Mr. SOVA is caretaker of the Boys' Industrial Home. Mrs. SOVA is well known as the clerk in the
P. H. Butler store.

SPADARO - MALONEY
Miss Gretchen Jane MALONEY of Third street, McDonald, daughter of W.W. MALONEY of
Erypville, and Frank SPADARO, son of Mr. and Mrs. Gennaro SPADERO of Canonsburg, were united in marriage at twelve o'clock noon Saturday, July 3, 1937, in the home of the bride's aunt, Mrs. Louis J. WEIR, in Third street, the Rev. Oscar E. GARDNER,
D.D., pastor of the First Presbyterian church, McDonald, performing the ring ceremony. The room was beautifully decorated with roses, white lilies, and delphinium. The bride was attired in a white chiffon gown with white accessories and wore a corsage of lilies of the valley and white rosebuds. Following the ceremony a reception was held in the WEIR home. There were eighteen guests at the reception with twelve seated at the bride's table, which was beautifully decorated with rosebuds. A large wedding cake was the centerpiece. The young couple left on a honeymoon trip to Cambridge Springs. They will reside in Pike street, Canonsburg. Mrs. SPADARO is a 1928 graudate of McDonald high school and of the Edinboro State Teachers' college. She taught for several years in the Hills Station schools. Mr. SPADARO is a graduate of Edinboro State Teachers college and took post-graduate work at the University of Pittsburgh. He is at present athletic director and teacher of mathematics in the Canonsburg high school. Out-of-town guests who attended the wedding were Mrs.
W.J. SPEER of Wilkinsburg, Mrs. Wilson GORDON, sister of the bride, of Muse, Mr. and Mrs. Gennaro
SPADERO, and the bridegroom's sister and her husband of Canonsburg.

SPARKS - HAUSER
Miss Charlotte Mozelle HAUSER, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. B.A. HAUSER of Winston-Salem, N.C., and Mr. Mayo Johnson SPARKS, son of Mr. and Mrs.
L. L. SPARKS of Oakdale, were united in marriage at seven o'clock Saturday evening, April 23, 1938, in the First Baptist church, Winston-Salem, N.C. Dr. Ralph A. HERRING performed the ceremony in the church, beautifully decorated with palms, ferns and calla lilies and lighted with glowing cathedral candles. The bride was attired in a white slipper satin gown with a Queen Anne collar, trimmed with satin-covered buttons. She wore a three-yard train with full length veil, and a gold locket, an heirloom of the bride's family. She carried a shower bouquet of white rose buds and lilies of the valley. The bridesmaids, Miss Miriam GORDON of Clemmons, N.C., and Miss Vera NUNN of Winston-Salem, N.C., wore blue net over blue taffeta, trimmed with a darker shade of velvet ribbon. Miss Marie SPARKS of Oakdale, sister of the bridegroom was the maid of honor. Mr. Joseph JOHNSON of Thomasville, N.C., was the
bestman. Mr. Boyd HENDRIX and Mr. Edwin B. COOKE were the ushers. Mr. Paul LUPA of Winston-Salem played the wedding music. A duet was sung by Miss Jean and Miss Lucille DAVIS, and a harp solo was played by Miss Doris TAYLOR, all of Winston-Salem. A cake cutting was combined with the reception, attended by 50 guests. The young couple left on a wedding trip to Washington, D.C., Oakdale, Pa., and other Northern points. Upon their return May 1 they will reside at 102 Fayette street, Winston-Salem. Mrs. SPARKS is a graduate of the Reynolds high school, Salem college, and
DROUGHORS Business college. Mr. SPARKS, a graduate of Oakdale high school and the Connelly Trade school, Pittsburgh, is a salesman at the Downtown garage, Winston-Salem.
