Mr. and Mrs. William BAMFORD entertained at a 12 o'clock dinner Tuesday
in honor of the bride and groom, Mr. and Mrs. Earl SMILEY of Bulger.

[SMITH] and Clara SMITH of Bulger, Miss Martha YOUNG of McDonald, and

SMILEY - SMITH
Miss Barbara Jean SMITH, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harry E. SMITH of R. D. 1,
Bulger, and Ray Brownlee SMILEY, son of Mr. and Mrs. Earl SMILEY of Bulger, were united in marriage at 8:30 p.m. Friday, July 18, 1947, in the Center U. P. church, Midway. Dr. Robert F. GALBREATH of New Wilmington, uncle of the bridegroom, and the Rev. Joseph T. BROWNLEE of Cambridge, Ohio, brother-in-law of the bridegroom, performed the single ring
ceremony before an altar decorated with ferns and palms.
The bride, given in marriage by her grandfather, Holland RUSSELL of Bridgeville, wore a beige suit with matching accessories and an orchid corsage. The maid of honor, Miss Marian BICKEL of Pittsburgh, wore a navy blue suit with matching accessories and a corsage of white gardenias. Charles SMILEY of Uniontown cousin of the bridegroom, served as bestman and Russ DALHBERG of Pittsburgh and George DICKSON, William WEAVER, and Henry
PAVIN, all of Burgettstown, were ushers. Preceding and following the ceremony, the church organist, Mrs. John
KRAEER, Jr., played the traditional wedding music.
The bride's mother was attired in a dark blue dress with matching accessories. The bridegroom's mother wore a gray dress with matching
accessories and they each wore a corsage of pink carnations.
Following the ceremony a reception for 100 guests was served in the church basement by members of the Center U. P. Mizpah class.
Upon their return from a week's wedding trip to Delaware Gap and other points of interest, the young couple will make their home in Crafton Heights.
The bride, who is the great- granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. James A.
McNALL, lifelong residents of Washington county and the late Mr. and Mrs. W. D. RUSSELL, also of Washington county, attended the Herbert Hoover high school in Glendale, Calif., and is a graduate of the Clark high school and is employed by the
GIMBEL Co. Mr. SMILEY, a graduate of Union high school, Burgettstown and Westminster college, served four and a half years as a lieutenant in the navy. He is employed at the Pittsburgh Forging Co., Coraopolis.
Guests were present from Swissvale, Uniontown, Cleveland, Pittsburgh, Sharon, New Wilmington, and Burgettstown.

CAMPBELL - SMILEY.

A very quiet home wedding was held Wednesday, June 21, 1922 at 12 o'clock noon, in the home of the bride, when Miss Mabel Luella CAMPBELL, daughter of Samuel J. CAMPBELL of Hastings avenue, Oakdale, was united in marriage to Wilbert S. SMILEY of Woodville, Pa., son of the late James SMILEY. The bride wore a blue traveling suit and was unattended. The marriage service was read by the bride's pastor, the Rev. W. R. MCMUNN of Oakdale United Presbyterian church. The bride has always been a resident of this vicinity and popular in social circles. She is a graduate of Indiana State normal and for a number of years has been a successful teacher in the Crafton schools. The groom was formerly of West Middletown, Pa., but of late has been employed at Woodville.
Mr. and Mrs. Smiley left for a short wedding trip to Washington, D. C. and other points returning home about July 1st. They will reside at Woodville, Pa.

The wedding of Miss Mabel Luella CAMPBELL, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Samuel J. CAMPBELL of Hastings avenue, Oakdale, to Wilbur Stork SMILEY of Woodville, was solemnized at high noon on Tuesday, June 20, 1922, at the home of the bride. The Rev. W. R.
MCMUNN, pastor of the First United Presbyterian church of Oakdale, officiated. The bride was given in marriage by her father, and wore a dark blue traveling suit with hat to match, and carried a corsage bouquet of sweetheart roses. The only attendants were the parents of the bride. Following the ceremony a wedding dinner was served at the home of the bride. Later in the afternoon Mr. and Mrs. SMILEY left for Washington, D. C., and other points of interest in the East, and after July fifth will be at home in the Robert Lee homestead at Woodville. The bride is a graduate of Indiana State normal school and taught school in the Crafton public schools for a number of years.
Mr. SMILEY is employed at the Allegheny County home at Woodville.

SMILNYAK - PUSKAR
The marriage of Miss Mayme PUSKAR, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George PUSKAR of Sturgeon, and Peter SMILNYAK of Oakdale was solemnized before a nuptial mass at nine o'clock in St. Patrick's church,
Noblestown, Wednesday morning, October 17, 1934, the Rev. Fr. KEANE officiating. The ceremony was performed before an embankment of ferns and white chrysanthemums.
The bride, who was given in marriage by her father, wore a gown of white satin with a veil to match and carried a bouquet of white calla lilies. Miss Cecelia SITARIK of Oakdale was maid of honor and wore blue satin. She carried pink chrysanthemums. The matron of honor was Mrs. Anthony STAAB of
Greentree, who was gowned in gold satin with matching flowers. Miss Kathryn PHILLIPS of Oakdale and Miss Betty FRANZ of Bridgeville were the bridesmaids and wore gold and pink respectively and carried a bouquet of chrysanthemums to match. John SHUIDA of Oakdale was best man. The ushers were Anthony STAAB of
Greentree, Donald STENZEL of Oakdale, and Martin STENZEL of Bridgeville. The flower girl was Loraine FISHER of Bridgeville and the ring-bearer was George MANNAUT of Sturgeon, a nephew of the bride.
Following the ceremony, dinner was served to the newlyweds and their guests in the SMILNYK farm north of Oakdale. The young couple left that evening for a wedding trip to Detroit and Chicago.

SMILNYAK - PUSKAR
The marriage of Miss Mayme PUSKAR, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph PUSKAR of Sturgeon, and Peter SMILNYAK of Oakdale was solemnized before a nuptial mass in St. Patrick's church, Noblestown, Wednesday morning, October 17, 1934, the Rev. Fr. KEANE officiating. About three hundred guests were present. The bridesmaid was Miss Bessie SITARIK. John SUHAJDA was best man. Following the ceremony, Mr. and Mrs. SMILNYAK and bridal party were entertained at dinner in the SMILNYAK home north of Oakdale, after which they left on a northern and eastern wedding tour. Mr. and Mrs. SMILNYAK will make their home in the SMILNYAK apartments.

Miss Emma SIMKO, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John SIMKO of Imperial and William
SMINSKY, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. SMINSKY of Burgettstown, were united in marriage at 8:00 o'clock Saturday morning, October 26, 1940, in St. Columbkille's Catholic church by the Rev. Fr. S.C.
KUPIEC. The bride wore a frock of moss green with matching accessories and a corsage of pompoms. Her only attendant was Miss Frances HARVATH of Imperial, who wore an ensemble of gold and a corsage of pompoms. Mr. Rocco GEORGE served as
bestman.
A reception was held that evening in the bride's home with only members of the immediate families present.
Mr. and Mrs. SMINSKY will reside in Weirton.
