O'ROURKE - SLEBONICK
[ SLEBONICK is the Groom. ]Before a nuptial mass at 9:30 o'clock
Wednesday morning, June 30, 1926, sung by the Rev. Fr. J. KOPERS in St.
Mary's church, Cecil, the marriage of Miss Margaret O'ROURKE, daughter
of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas O'ROURKE of Southview, and Andrew SLEBONICK, son
of Mr. and Mrs. Andrew SLEBONICK, also of Southview, took place.
The bride was attired in cream satin covered by a veil of white tulle
arranged in cap effect and fastened with a white rose on either side.
She carried an arm bouquet of white bride's roses showered with lilies
of the valley and carried emerald rosary beads. Her sister, Miss
Agnes O'ROURKE, was maid of honor, and she was attired in pink canton
crepe with large picture hat of the same color. She carried an arm
bouquet of pink roses tied with pink tulle ribbon. Miss Susie SLEBONICK,
sister of the bridegroom, was bridesmaid. She was attired in peach crepe
with large banquet of red roses tied with peach colored tulle ribbon.
Mr. Michael SLEBONICK, of Westmoreland county was his cousin's best man.
Mr. George GEMO of Primrose, a cousin of the bride, of Primose, a cousin
of the bridegroom, was usher. Miss Mary QUINN of Cecil was the organist,
and during the mass sang several hymns. Following the ceremony a wedding
breakfast was served at the home of the bride. Covers were laid for ten
at the bride's table. The centerpiece was a bouquet of bride's roses and
ferns. After the meal, the bride's cake with cream was
served by Mrs. Henry CREPS of Southview and Mrs. William BENGES of
Coraopolis, an aunt of the bride. Mr. and Mrs. SLEBONICK will
reside with the bride's parents for a time, on account of the poor
health of the bride's mother.

SLOAN - BLACKBURN
On Friday, June 1st, at the Robinson's Run parsonage [comma] Mr. Fred
SLOAN and Miss Margaret BLACKBURN, both of near Freeport, Pa., were united in marriage, the ring ceremony being
used. The officiating minister, the Rev. J. T. KROHN, was formerly Mr. SLOAN'S pastor. After the ceremony the couple returned to the home of the bridegroom's parents, Mr. and Mrs. R. SLOAN, near Freeport, where they will reside. The groom is associated with his father in business. The bride was graduated
from the Kittanning high school (sic) May 31st.
