The marriage on September 22, 1923, of Miss Lena THOMASSY, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Desire THOMASSY of Fifth street, and Mr. Raymond SIMPSON, son of Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence H. SIMPSON of
Noblestown, has just been announced. The ceremony was performed in the Methodist church at Wellsburg, W. Va. Mr. SIMPSON is employed as freight clerk at Carnegie. Mrs. SIMPSON until recently was a junior in the McDonald high school. They have gone to housekeeping in Burgettstown.

Miss Gladys HAMPSON, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph HAMPSON of Laurel hill, McDonald, and Mr. Robert SIMPSON, son of Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence SIMPSON of Noblestown were united in marriage Tuesday, December 27, 1938, in the Methodist parsonage in Cumberland, Md., the Rev. Mr. FLORA officiating. The young couple are residing with the bride's parents. Mrs. SIMPSON is a 1938 graduate of the McDonald high school. Mr. SIMPSON is employed in the Federal Reserve bank, Pittsburgh.

Her corsage was of white gardenias. Mrs. SIMPSON is a 1938 graduate of McDonald high school. Mr. SIMPSON is a 1938 graduate of North Fayette high school. The young couple will reside in McDonald.
