Miss Isabella M. COOK, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John COOK, south of McDonald and Mr. Wendell H. SHOAFF of Volant were quietly married in the presence of the immediate families Saturday morning, May 9th at 10 o'clock at the parsonage of the First United Presbyterian church by the Rev. W. D. IRONS, D.D. Miss Asennath COOK, sister of the bride, was bridesmaid and Mr. Kendall M. CAMPBELL was best man. They left for a north-eastern auto trip.

SHOOK - KRIEGER
Miss Amelia KRIEGER, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles KRIEGER of Hills Station, and Mr. Raymond SHOOK of Muse were united in marriage Saturday, June 15, 1940, in the Lutheran church, Bridgeville, the Rev. Mr.
FRANKE performing the ceremony. The bride wore a white organza gown with a long veil. She carried white roses and lilies of the valley. The bridesmaids were Miss Margorie SHOOK of Muse, sister of the bridegroom, who wore rose satin and carried pink roses and blue delphinium, and Miss Olga CHOWALA of Hills Station, who wore pink silk net and carried pink roses and blue delphinium. Mr. Arthur YOUNG served as
bestman. A wedding dinner was served in the bride's home to 75 guests, eight seated at the bride's table. After a trip to the mountains, the young couple will reside in the
SCARTON home in Cecil. Mrs. SHOOK graduated in 1940 with first honors from the Cecil high school.
Mr. SHOOK, a graduate of Cecil high school, is employed by the National Mining Co. at Muse.
