Wearing a gown and veil fashioned by her own nimble fingers, Mary BATTISTA, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Anthony BATTISTA of Muse, became the bride of Renoto SELVA of Muse on Saturday May 18. The ceremony was performed in St. Mary's Catholic church, Cecil, at 8 a.m., the Rev. Father KOPERA officiating.

The bride wore a white satin gown and long tulle veil secured with a tiara of fresh lilies of the valley. She carried a sheaf of white lilies showered with lilies of the valley.  In making her gown and veil, the bride was assisted by Mrs. Dominic BATTISTONE.

Her only attendant was Rose SELVA, sister of the bridegroom, who chose pink taffeta and carried pink tea roses. Patsy BATTISTA, brother of the bride, served as bestman.

A wedding breakfast at the home of the bride's parents supplemented the ceremony and a reception was held in the home that evening with many relatives and friends present. Dancing was the diversion.

Mr. and Mrs. SELVA will reside in Canonsburg, the former being an employee of the Muse mine of the National Mining Co.

Miss Anna ELNYCZKY, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Alex ELNYCZKY of Pittsburgh, and Mr. Miller SENOVITCH, son of Mr. and Mrs. Dragon SENOVITCH, Sr. of R. D. 1, McDonald, were united in marriage at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, February 1, 1941, in St. Michael's Russian
Orthodox cathedral, Pittsburgh, by the Rev. Fr. A FEDORCHOIX [?].

The bride wore a w hite satin gown with a long lace veil. She carried a bouquet of white roses and lilies of the valley. The bridesmaids were Miss Mary HOSTINSAK [sp?] of Pittsburgh, who wore a light blue gown and carried a bouquet of pink carnations and snapdragons, and Miss Florence SUPAK of RANKIN who wore a light pink gown and carried pink carnations and snapdragons.  Mr. Boyd SENOVITCH of R. D. 1, McDonald, served as his brother's bestman. Other attendants were Mr. and Mrs. Dragon SENOVITCH, Jr., of R. D. 1, McDonand, and Mr. Steve ELNYCZKY of Pittsburgh, brother of the bride.

Miss Helen Marie KOSTICH of Stockdale, a niece of the bridegroom, sang.

Following the ceremony, a reception was held in the home of the bridegroom's parents. There
were 150 guests with 40 seated at the bride's table.

The young couple are at home in R. D. 1, McDonald.

Miss Stella Polasky, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Alex POLASKY of Canonsburg, was united in marriage with John SERBACK of McDonald at 8 a.m. Saturday, October 2, 1937, in St. Genevieve's church, Canonsburg. Nuptial high mass was celebrated by the Rev. Father Edward PIKULIK.

Attendants to the couple were Miss Rosella OLMINSKI and Casimer THOMAS, both of Canonsburg. The bride was gowned in white satin with tulle veil caught with seed pearls and she carried an arm bouquet of whte chrysanthemums. Miss OLMINSKI, the bride's only attendant, was gowned in old rose moire and she wore a floral tiara. Her flowers were yellow chrysanthemums.

A wedding dinner and reception at the home of the bride's parents, 16 Poplar street, Canonsburg, supplemented the ceremony when covers were laid for 150 guests including relatives and friends from Cleveland, New Jersey, Pittsburgh and McDonald.

Mr. and Mrs. SERBAK [sic] have taken up their residence in Canonsburg. The bridegroom is an
employee of Montour No. 9 mine of the Pittsgurgh Coal Co.

Pietra SERGIS and Miss Dominick CREA were married at the home of the bride Saturday evening by Squire EATON.  The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph CREA and the groom is employed in the S. H. BELL barber shop.
