On Tuesday morning, September 26th at 7:30 o'clock in St. Alphonsus' Roman Catholic church the marriage of Miss Margaret M. LEMON, daughter of Mrs. Mary LEMON of Johns avenue and Mr. Charles M. SCHONES took place. Rev. Father Joseph A. BURGOON officiated. Miss Rosina MCGOVERN attended the bride and Charles LEMON, a brother of the bride, was best man. The bride wore a tan traveling suit with hat to match. After a wedding breakfast which was served at the home of the bride the happy couple left for a Lake trip. They will make their home in McDonald where the groom is employed as Borough officer.

LEMON - SCHONS. 
[ SCHONS is the Groom. ]


The marriage of Miss Margaret M. LEMON, daughter of Mrs. Mary LEMON of Johns avenue, to Charles M. SCHONS, also of Johns avenue, was solemnized at seven-thirty o'clock Tuesday morning, September 26, 1922, before a nuptial mass in St. Alphonsus' church, the Rev. Fr. Joseph A. BURGOON, officiating. The bride wore a sand-colored traveling suit with hat and fur choker, and wore a corsage of bride's roses.
Miss Rosina MCGOVERN was bridesmaid and wore a gown of black taffeta and hat to match and carried a bouquet of pink roses. Charles LEMON, youngest brother of the bride, served as best man. A wedding breakfast supplemented the ceremony, after with Mr. and Mrs. SCHONS left for a trip to Cleveland and other points in Ohio. Mr. SCHONS is McDonald's policeman. He served in France during the World war [WWI].

Mrs. Harriett McCAFFREY of Oakdale and Max B. SCHREIBER of McDonald were quietly married Saturday, August 27, 1938. They are expected home this Friday from a motor tour which included points in Canada and New York State. They will reside in the dwelling recently built by Mr. SCHREIBER at his greenhouses in the Eastend, McDonald.

Max SCHRIBER, the popular young florist of Fanny street, on Wednesday at 5 o'clock was married to Miss FORD, of Aspinwall.  The wedding was a quiet home affair, none but the immediate friends of the family being present.  The young couple came direct to McDonald [Pa] and will reside on Fanny street.

Married, at the home of the bride's sister, Mrs. J. H. BEATTY, at Whitin, Ind., March 18th, at 8 p. m., Miss Elizabeth CAMPBELL to Mr. Fred SCHULTZ of Allegheny. The Rev. Mr. WEBSTER of Whiting performed the ceremony.  The bride was gowned in white lace over white silk and carried a shower bouquet of white roses. Mrs. J. H. BEATTY was matron of honor and wore brown chiffon trimmed with lace. The wedding was a quiet affair, only  twenty-four guests being present, owing to the recent death of the bride's father, W. S. CAMPBELL, late of McDonald and Jacob's Creek.

Miss Ruth STRAIN, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. G. W. STRAIN of Fannie street, McDonald, and Mr. Myron SCHWAB, son of Mrs. Dora Schwab of R. D. 4, McDonald, were united in marriage at two o'clock Saturday afternoon, August 17, 1940, in the parsonage of the First Presbyterian church, the pastor, the Rev. Oscar E. GARDNER, D.D., performing the ring ceremony.

The bride wore soldier blue with matching accessories and a corsage of tea roses and baby breath. The bridesmaid, Mrs. Lois SCHWAB Browning of R. D. 4, McDonald, sister of the bridegroom, wore navy blue with matching accessories and a corsage of red roses and baby breath. Her husband, Mr. Guy BROWNING, Jr., served as bestman.

Following the ceremony, the young couple motored to Conneaut Lake and upon their return will reside with the bride's parents.

Mrs. SCHWAB is a 1937 graduate of McDonald high school.  Mr. SCHWAB attended the Hickory Vocational school.
