SCHOLLAERT - SMITH
Miss Mary Louise SMITH, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Albert SMITH of McDonald, and Mr. Clarence G.
SCHOLLAERT, son of Mr. and Mrs. Victor SCHOLLAERT, Sr., of Sturgeon, were united in marriage at 2:30 o'clock Saturday afternoon, February 15, 1941, in the Noblestown United Presbyterian church, beautifully decorated with palms and ferns. The ceremony was performed by the Rev.
W.V. RITCHIE, pastor of the Oakdale United Presbyterian church, assisted by the Rev. Everett GRAY of the Noblestown
U.P. church.
The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a gown of white satin with ivory lace, made princess style. She wore a long veil of duchess lace with a queen's crown tiara with seed pearls and carried an arm bouquet of calla lilies. The maid of honor, Miss Elizabeth SMITH of McDonald, sister of the bride, wore a pink taffeta gown with blue accessories and carried an arm bouquet of russet snapdragons and
babybreath. The bridesmaid, Miss Julianna SMITH of McDonald, another sister of the bride wore a cornflower taffeta blue gown with burgundy accessories and carried an arm bouquet of wine colored snapdragons and
babybreath. Each attendant wore a small shoulder veil. Mr. Lester DEPORTER of Burgettstown served as bestman and the usher was Mr. Joseph KAULIUS OF McDonald. The bride's mother and the bridegroom's mother wore blue with corsages of mixed flowers.
Mrs. Frank KEENAN of Noblestown played the wedding music and Mrs. Robert EBEL of Noblestown sang "Because."
Following the ceremony, a reception was held in the Smith home. There were forty guests with fourteen seated at the bride's table. The table centerpiece was a large wedding cake baked by the bride's mother.
Mrs. SCHOLLAERT is a 1937 graduate of McDonald high school. Mr.

GILLESPIE - SCHOLLAERT

Miss Mary CATHERINE GILLESPIE, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Albert J. GILLESPIE of Sturgeon and JOSEPH P.
SCHOLLAERT, son of Mrs. Leona SCHOLLAERT of Noblestown, were united in marriage Tuesday morning at eight
o'clock. The ceremony was performed in St. Patrick's church, Noblestown by the Rev. Fr. B. J. COX. Miss
Mabel GILLESPIE sister of the bride, acted as bridesmaid and Mr. Arthur SCHOLLAERT, brother of the groom, was best man. After the
wedding breakfast for the immediate families at the bride's home,
the couple left for a trip to Niagara Falls and Canada. They will be at home in Bridgeville after February 1st.

SCHOLLAERT - DELANY
Audrey Marie DELANY, daughter of Mr and Mrs. Charles DELANEY of Sturgeon,
and Raymond SCHOLLAERT, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Julian SCHOLLAERT, were
united in marriage on November 27 at 9:30 o'clock in St. Patrick's church,
Noblestown.
Father Martin Flaherty officiated at the ceremony.
The bride wore a gray suit with dubonnet accessories and a corsage of gardenias. The
bridesmaid, Gloria May SAMUELS of Sturgeon, was dressed in a dubonnet suit with black
accessories. She wore a corsage of yellow roses. The bestman was Joseph K. BLANK of
Sturgeon.
Following the ceremony a breakfast was served in the William Penn hotel and a
reception was held at the Eagles hall, Sturgeon.
Mr. and Mrs. SCHOLLAERT took a trip to Washington, D. C. They will make their
home with the bride's parents. The bride is a 1942 graduate of North Fayette high school
and is employed at Statler Hotels, Inc., in Pittsburgh. Mr. SCHOLLAERT was graduated
from South Fayette high school in 1939 and is employed at Universal Cyclops, Bridgeville.

Miss Helen HORAK, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph HORAK of Sturgeon, and Mr. Thomas SCHOLLAERT, son of Mr. and Mrs.
Julian SCHOLLAERT, also of Sturgeon, were united in marriage at nine o'clock Thanksgiving morning, Thursday November 24, 1938,
in St. Patrick's church, Noblestown, by the Rev. Fr. C. M. KEANE.
The bride was attired in a blue transparent velvet gown with matching accessories. She wore a corsage of pink rosebuds. The
bridesmaid, Miss Anne CHARSKY of Carnegie, wore maroon with matching accessories and a corsage of yellow rosebuds. Mr. Albert
SHOLLAERT of Sturgeon served as bestman. The wedding music
was played by Miss Florence HOHN.
A wedding breakfast was served to fifteen guests in the HORAK home. A reception was held in the evening. The young couple will
reside in Sturgeon.
