SCHMIDT - PETERS
Miss Leetta PETERS of Struthers, Ohio, and Louis SCHMIDT of Aliquippa were united in marriage at noon Wednesday, April 3, 1940, in the PETERS home, the Rev. Swingston GORDON officiating.
The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a blue lace afternoon dress with navy blue accessories and a corsage of pink roses.
Mrs. Roy TOOGOOD was bridesmaid and Mr. Anthony PEROK served as
bestman.
A wedding dinner followed the ceremony at Scotwick's, Youngstown, Ohio. A reception was held Saturday evening in their home on the Brodhead road. There were about thirty-five guests including Mr. and Mrs. Charles COOL and Mrs. Elsa PUSKAR, relatives. Lunch was served.
Among those who attended the wedding were John LLOYD and daughter, Mrs. Roy TOOGOOD, of Aliquippa, Mrs. John Clark WILSON of Beaver, Mr. and Mrs.
A. P. PEROK of Imperial, and Eleanor, Dolly, and Bobbie SCHMIDT of Aliquippa.

RUDERMAN - SCHMIDT

The marriage of Miss Mildred RUDERMAN and Mr. Max SCHMIDT of McDonald took place Tuesday afternoon at 5:30 o'clock in the Stratford avenue home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Harry
RUDERMAN. The bridal couple was unattended and the ceremony was performed by Rabbi A. M. ASHINSKY before the members of the two families. The bride wore a gown of white canton crepe, beaded, with a tulle veil, and carried a shower of white roses and lilies of the valley. A reception was held at the RUDERMAN home Tuesday evening at 8:30 o'clock at which time Mr. and Mrs.
RUDERMAN, Eli SCHMIDT, father of the bridegroom, and Mr. and Mrs. Harry SUTTIN, brother-in-law and sister of the bridegroom were in the receiving line. After a short wedding trip Mr. SCHMIDT and his bride will be at home in McDonald.

ROBERT - SCHMITT.

Before an embankment of ferns and palms, interspersed with roses, the marriage of Miss Flora ROBERT, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. E. T. ROBERT of Fanny street, and Mr. George H. SCHMITT, son of Mr. and Mrs. C. SCHMITT of the East-end, Pittsburgh, was solemnized in the ROBERT home at four o'clock Wednesday afternoon, June 11, 1924. The Rev. Dr. W. D. IRONS, pastor of the First United Presbyterian church, officiated. The bridal party entered the room to the strains of Lohengrin's "Wedding March," played by Mrs. Frank WYLAN of Pittsburgh, a sister of the groom. During the ceremony Mrs. WYLAN played, "Oh Promise Me." The bride, who was given in marriage by her father, was gowned in white satin canton crepe trimmed with crystals, rhinestones and pearls and wore a hat to match, and carried a shower bouquet of bride's roses, lilies of the valley and orchids. Miss Isabella FINDLAY of Grant street was Miss ROBERT's maid of honor and was gowned in blue canton crepe with a hat to match. She carried a shower bouquet of Ophelia rosebuds. Miss Julia DELOCHE of Miller street was bridesmaid and was gowned in pink canton crepe with hat to match and carried a shower bouquet of pink rosebuds. Arthur ROBERT of Washington, D. C., a brother of the bride, was Mr. SCHMITT's best man. Mrs. E. T. ROBERT, mother of the bride, appeared in grey crepe.
A wedding dinner and reception at the ROBERT home followed the ceremony. Covers were laid for fifty, with
twenty-four at the bride's table. A large wedding cake and roses adorned the center of the bride's table. Mr. and Mrs. SCHMITT left the same evening for New York City, from where they will go by boat to Albany, N. Y., Boston, Mass., Baltimore, Md., Richmond, Va., Washington, and Philadelphia. Mr. SCHMITT traveled in a powder blue traveling suit. After July first Mr. and Mrs. SCHMITT will be at home in Fanny street. The bride, who is well known in McDonald, is a graduate of McDonald high school class of 1917. She has taught in the McDonald grade school since her graduation. Mr. SCHMITT is a graduate of Carnegie Tech. He taught for a time in the high school and is at present employed as efficiency manager of the Vital Sales corporation of Pittsburgh. The out-of-town guests who attended the wedding the reception were Mr. and Mrs. Seal

THOMASSY and Mr. and Mrs. James CRAIG of Burgettstown, Mr. and Mrs. George GILLESPIE, Miss Anne GILLESPIE and George GILLESPIE Jr., of the Venice road.

SCHNEIDER-THIBON
Miss Lorraine THIBON, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles THIBON of Howard street, McDonald, and Thomas SCHNEIDER, son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph SCHNEIDER of Carnegie, were united in marriage at 3:30 p.m. Sunday, January 9, 1944, in the Church of Atonement, Carnegie. The Rev.
M. W. D'ESSIPRI performed the double ring ceremony.
The bride, given in marriage by her brother-in- law, W. Allan PATTISON of Clinton, wore a white woolen ensemble with brown accessories and a corsage of red and yellow roses. Mrs. Eleanor
CLARK of Carnegie was the bride's attendant and Alex SMITH of McDonald served as
bestman.
Following the ceremony a reception was held in the home of the bride's parents.
Mrs. SCHNEIDER, a graduate of McDonald high school and Comptometer school, Pittsburgh, is employed by the National Supply Co.,
Carnegie.
After January 17, the young couple will reside at Chartiers Terrace, Carnegie.
