SCHARDONG - NELSON
Miss Mildred Ann NELSON, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John NELSON of Cecil, and Charles
SCHARDONG, son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles SCHARDONG of Bridgeville, were united in marriage at nine o'clock Thursday morning, November 23, 1939, in Old St. Patrick's church, Pittsburgh, by the Rev. Fr. COX.
The bride wore rose with black accessories and a corsage of chrysanthemums and red roses. The bridesmaid was Miss Madeline SCHARDONG of Bridgeville. Mr. John MCAVOY of Pittsburgh served as
bestman.
A wedding breakfast was served in the home of the bride's aunt, Mrs. Raoul
CHABLAND. There were 12 guests. The young couple took a trip to Washington, D.C., and will reside in Bridgeville. Mrs. SCHARDONG is a graduate of Cecil high school. Mr.
SCHARDONG, a graduate of Bridgeville high, is manager of the Streamline store, Mt. Lebanon.

Miss Alice A. HENDRICKSON, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Scott HENDRICKSON
of Sharon road, Beaver, and Charles H. SCHAUGHENCY , son of Mr. and Mrs. C. Preston
SCHAUGHENCY of Beaver, were married on Saturday, September 11, 1926, in the home of the bride
by the Rev. Charles D. FULTON, pastor of the First United Presbyterian
church of Beaver. The wedding music was played by Mrs. W. Paul ELLIOTT of Beaver. Miss Helen
DENNY of Vanport was maid of honor, and Miss Vera E. HENDRICKSON, sister of the bride, was bridesmaid. George C.
PETERS of Beaver served as best man. Before the ceremony selections were sung by
Miss Edna M. PATTERSON of Beaver and Neal J. MOWRY of New Brighton.
A reception followed the ceremony. After a lake trip Mr. and Mrs. SCHAUGHENCY
will reside in Beaver.
Mr. SCHAUGHENCY is a nephew of Mrs. Thomas SHUPE of Station street, McDonald.

SCHELLINGER - STURGEON
Miss Marguerite STURGEON of R.D. 1, Oakdale, daughter of the late Joseph and Margaret WALLACE STURGEON, and Bayard R. SCHELLINGER of
Truxton, N.Y., were united in marriage at eleven o'clock Tuesday, July 7, 1942, in the home of the bridegroom's sister, Mrs.
A.C. STEVENSON, First street, Oakdale, by the Rev. William HADDON.
The bride wore a dark blue two-piece suit with pink accessories and a white hat trimmed in blue. Her flowers were pink roses. Her attendant, Miss June STURGEON, a niece, wore a dark blue dress and hat. Dr. Swope STEVENSON, nephew of the bridegroom, served as
bestman. Miss Barbara Lee POLLOCK of Oakdale played the wedding music.
Following a brief trip through Pennsylvania and the New York mountains, the couple will reside in
Truxton, N.Y.

SCHIEFELBEIN - YARBURGER
Miss Helen Betty YARBURGER of R.D. 2, Coraopolis, and William F.
SCHIEFELBEIN, Jr., son of the W.F. SCHIEFELBEINS, also of R.D. 2, Coraopolis, were united in marriage at 6:30 p.m. Saturday, July 31, 1943. The Rev. Samuel G. NEAL, pastor of the Hebron Presbyterian church, Clinton, performed the ceremony on hte lawn of the SCHIEFELBEIN home, before an improvised altar of gladioli and ferns.
The bride wore a street-length blue silk crepe dress. Her flowers were blue delphinium, white rosebuds, and babies'-breath tied with a white ribbon.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held and the young couple cut the five-tiered wedding cake.
The bridegroom is a graduate of the Findlay Vocational high school and has been employed since graduation by his father on the farm. He is an active worker in the Valley Presbyterian Sunday school.
On their return from a trip, the young couple will reside with the bridegroom's parents.

SCHILLO - PUSKAR
Miss Marjorie PUSKAR, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. S. A. PUSKAR of Imperial, and John
SCHILLO, son of Mr. and Mrs. John SCHILLO, Sr., of Long Island, N. Y., were united in marriage at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 7, 1946, in St. Bernard's church, Mt. Lebanon, by the Rev. Fr. ACKERMAN. The bride, given in marriage by her brother, C. E.
PUSKAR, wore a gown of white satin trimmed in lace with a medium-length train. She wore a short veil with a rose-trimmed cap effect and carried a bouquet of white roses and babies'-breath. Mrs. Alice PUSKAR HENDERSON, sister of the bride, was her attendant and wore a gown of peach taffeta. She carried a bouquet of talisman roses. John DURKEE of Long Island served as
bestman. John JANSEK and Mr. KIRPIRI were the ushers. A breakfast for the wedding party and relatives was served in the home of the bride's sister, Mrs. S. A.
FRONEK, in Dormont. A reception later took place in the New Century club,
Dormont, after which the young couple left for a two-week trip to Canadohta Lake. The bride is a graduate of Findlay Vocational school and of Grace Martin's secretarial school. The bridegroom attended college in New York prior to serving three years as a paratrooper in World War II. He is employed by the H. J. Heinz Co. in Long Island, where the young couple expect to make their home.
Out-of-town guests included the bridegroom's parents, his sister and brother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. John
JANSEK; and Mr. and Mrs. KIRPIRI, all of Long Island; Mrs. John BRITT, Sr., of St. Louis, and Mrs. A. T. PUSKAR and daughter Jane of Barberton, Ohio.
