Mr. and Mrs. Thomas HOGAN of Georgetown announce the marriage of their daughter, Mildred Louise, to Mr. James Thomas SCALLY on Monday the sixteenth of July, 1928 in the Presentation church, Midland, Penna. Miss HOGAN, formerly of here, is one of the teachers in the Midland school.

SKARTON - SKAVERA
Miss Helen SKAVERA of Scottdale and Mr. Henry SCARTON, son of Mr. and Mrs. Augustine SCARTON of Cecil, were united in marriage at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, June 6, 1939, in St. Mary's church, Pittsburgh, by the Rev. Fr. A. E.
HEINRICK. The bride wore a white afternoon dress with a large picture hat. Her corsage was of gardenias. The bridesmaid was Miss Eleanor MADDEN of Ambridge. Mr. Charles MANNERS of Pittsburgh served as
bestman. A wedding breakfast was served in the Fort Pitt hotel. The young couple left on a Southern trip and upon their return will reside in Bellevue. Mrs. SCARTON attended Seton Hill college and the University of Pittsburgh. Mr. SCARTON, a graduate of Duquesne University, Pittsburgh, is the science teacher in the Cecil high school.

SCHAEFER - McDOWELL
Mr. and Mrs. William McDOWELL of Coal street, McDonald, announce the marriage of their daughter, Miss Mary Lois, to Cpl. Henry E. SCHAEFER, Jr., stationed at Aberdeen Proving Grounds, Md., son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry E. SCHAEFER, Sr., of Steubenville, Ohio.
The ceremony was performed at 6:30 p.m. Saturday, March 13, 1943, in the Presbyterian church, Havre de Grace, Md., by the pastor, the Rev. R. Allen BROWN.
The bride wore a pale blue wool traveling suit with matching accessories and a corsage of gardenias. Her only attendant was her sister, Miss Elisabeth McDOWELL of McDonald, who wore a pale gray wool suit with black accessories and a corsage of white sweet peas. Charles J. PLEISSE, Jr., of Steubenville, Ohio, stationed at Aberdeen Proving Grounds, Md., served as bestman.
Following the ceremony, the bridal party were guests of Henry E. SCHAEFER, Sr., at a supper in the Colonial hotel, Havre de Grace. The table was decorated with pink snapdragons.
After a brief honeymoon trip to New York, the bride will return to Wheeling, W.Va., where she is employed in the Ordnance office. Mrs. SCHAEFER is a granddaughter of the
A. B. COCHRANs of McDonald.

Miss Willa Mae BEY and Mr. Robert J. SCHAEFER, both of the Eastend, Pittsburgh, were united in marriage Wednesday afternoon, June 21, 1939, in the First Presbyterian manse, McDonald, by the Rev. O. E. GARDNER,
D.D. The young couple are members of the Valley View Presbyterian church of which Dr. GARDNER was pastor before coming to McDonald.

SCHAFFNIT - EILER
Miss Ella B. EILER of Termon avenue, Northside, Pittsburgh, daughter of Mrs. Andrew EILER of East Lincoln avenue, and Mr. Edward
SCHAFFNIT, son Mrs. Minnie SCHAFFNIT of Orchlee street, Northside, Pittsburgh, were united in marriage at 6:45 o'clock Saturday evening, October 20, 1934, in the home of the officiating minister, the Rev. W. C. MARQUIS of the
Northside, Pittsburgh.
The ceremony was performed in the presence of the immediate families and a few close friends. The bride was attired in a gown of royal blue crepe and lace and carried a bouquet of tea roses. She was attended by Mrs. John MARSHALL of the
Northside. Mr. MARSHALL was best man. Immediately after the ceremony a wedding dinner was served in the SCHAFFNIT home with twelve at the bride's table.
The young couple will make their home at present with Mr. SCHAFFNIT's mother.
