SARTWELL - CRIMI


Announcement is made of the marriage of Lucille CRIMI, daughter of Mrs. Jeanne CRIMI of Cecil, and Floyd SARTWELL, son of Mr. and Mrs. William SARTWELL of Cleveland, Ohio. The ceremony was performed Saturday evening, August 1, 1936, in the Cecil Gospel mission, the Rev. Howard SPEASE of Cleveland officiating.

The bride, given in marriage by her uncle, Ferdinand BETHEM of Charleroi, was attired in white lace over white satin with a bridal hat having a shoulder veil. She carried a bouquet of white rosebuds.

Her only attendant was her sister, Velma CRIMI, who wore pink lace over pink taffeta and carried a bouquet of pink rosebuds. The Rev. Erville SMITH was best man. The wedding music was played by Miss Katherine LAIRD who was the accompanist for Mr. BETHEM, who sang, "I Love You Truly."

Relatives of the bride from East Aurora and Fredonia, N.Y., attended the nuptials. In the out-of-town guest list were also included the Rev. and Mrs. Howard SPEASE of Cleveland, Mr. and Mrs. Ferdinand BETHEM and Miss JUGGINS of Charleroi, Mrs. VALASIN and Mrs. Victoria BROUTOUT of Mt. Lebanon.

Mr. and Mrs. SARTWELL are honeymooning in Cleveland where they plan to reside, the bridegroom being employed there.

SAUERS - HECKMAN

Mr. and Mrs. Eugene M. HECKMAN of South Bryant avenue, Bellevue, have announced the marriage of their daughter, Miss Josephine HECKMAN, to Sergeant Raymond L. SAUERS, son of Mrs. M.W. SAUERS of Imperial.

Their wedding took place Saturday, May 8, 1943, and a small reception in the home of the bride followed.

The bride, who wore light blue sheer with wineberry accessories and an orchid corsage, was attended by Mrs. John STROUSS, Jr. Dr. Joseph C. NOAH was bestman.

After a trip west, Sergeant SAUERS returned to his station with the army air corps at Farmingdale, L.I.

Miss Florence DELANEY, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Jules DELANEY of Sturgeon, and Mr. Richard J. SAUERS, son of Mr. and Mrs. Andrew SAUERS of Imperial, were united in marriage at 6:30 p.m. Monday, January 16, 1939, in St. Columbkille's parish house, Imperial, the Rev. Fr. KUPIEC officiating. The bride was attired in a blue crepe dress with blue accessories. Her flowers were white chrysanthemums. The bridesmaid, Miss Dorothy SAUERS of Imperial, wore blue with blue accessories. Mr. Joseph KEILEY of Imperial was the bestman. A reception was held in the SAUERS home for the immediate families with forty guests in attendance. Mr. and Mrs. SAUERS are both graduates of North Fayette high school. Mr. SAUERS is employed at Montour No. 9 mine. The young couple will reside in Imperial.

SAUERS - PIRRUNG


Miss Anna Mae PIRRUNG, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. David PIRRUNG of Imperial, and Samuel SAUERS, son of Joseph SAUERS, also of Imperial, were united in marriage at 8:30 a.m. Wednesday, November 15, 1939, in the rectory of St. Columbkille's church, the Rev. Fr. S.C. KUPIEC officiating. 

The bride wore a dress of royal blue with silver rhinestones and matching accessories and a corsage of pom-poms. 

A wedding breakfast for the immediate families followed in the PIRRUNG home and the reception in the evening was held in the bridegroom's home. The couple with reside in Imperial.
