Mr. and Mrs. Alex RUSSELL of Bulger announce the marriage of their son, Pfc. Alex RUSSELL, to Miss Esther CRAMER of Brownsville. The ceremony took place Saturday, December 4, 1943, in the Rowes Run church, Brownsville. The Rev. Mr. ROBERTSON of Brownsville officiated. 

The bride wore a poudre blue suit with black accessories and a corsage of red roses. Her attendant wore a poudre blue dress with navy blue accessories and a corsage of yellow roses. 

The following relatives and friends of the bridegroom attended the wedding: Mr. and Mrs. Alex RUSSELL and daughters Sarah May and Betty, Mr. and Mrs. T.W. WILSON, and Mrs. Margaret PASKUTIS of Bulger, and Miss Madeline MCGROGAN of Carnegie.

Miss Marie LAMPUGH and Andrew RUSSELL, both of Philadelphia, were united in marriage Saturday afternoon at 5:30 o'clock in Philadelphia.  A reception at Green Hill Farms, Philadelphia, followed the ceremony.  Mr. and Mrs. RUSSELL left for a trip through Pennsylvania and visited Tuesday and Wednesday with Mr. Russell's sister, Mrs. T. M. ELLIOTT, in Fourth street. Mrs. R. M. WEIR and D. S. RUSSELL of McDonald are also a sister and brother of the groom.

In the home of the bride's parents on Wednesday evening, June 10th at 5:45 o'clock before an embankment of ferns, occurred the marriage of Miss Mary Cecelia WILLIAMS, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Howell Probert WILLIAMS of McDonald to Mr. Donald Smith RUSSELL, son of Dr. and Mrs. Andrew L. RUSSELL of Ironton, Ohio. The ring ceremony was used with the Rev. W. D. IRONS, D. D., pastor of the First United Presbyterian church, officiating. The bride was attired in a gown of Blonde georgette and lace over pink satin and carried a shower bouquet of Sweetheart Roses and Lilies of the Valley. She was unattended. A wedding supper and reception followed the ceremony, after which Mr. and Mrs. RUSSELL left on a honeymoon to be spent in the New England States and Canada. Mrs. RUSSELL is a graduate of Indiana State Normal and for the past three years has been a teacher in the McDonald Public Schools. Mr. and Mrs. RUSSELL will be at home after July 1st at 230 East Lincoln avenue.

Miss Thelma Hoffman WAGNER, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George WAGNER of Burgettstown, and George Donald RUSSELL, son of Mr. and Mrs. John RUSSELL of Midway, were united in marriage at 6:30 p.m. Monday, July 1, 1946, in the Westminster Presbyterian church, Burgettstown. The pastor, the Rev. William FLURKEY performed the double ring ceremony.

The bride was attired in a red and white crepe dress with white accessories and corsage of yellow roses. The maid of honor, Miss Anna Mae WAGNER, sister of the bride, wore a white dress with red accessories and a corsage of red roses. Hugh POLLAN of Burgettstown served as bestman.  The brides' mother wore a black and white dress with white accessories.  The wedding music was provided by Mrs. William FLURKEY.

Following the ceremony, the young couple left for a wedding trip through Maryland and Virginia. They will reside in Midway.

Mrs. RUSSELL, a 1943 graduate of Union high school, Burgettstown, has been employed in the Butler Food Market, Burgettstown. Mr. RUSSELL, a 1939 graduate of Midway high school, is employed by his father.
