PORTERFIELD - ROGERS.
[ ROGERS is the Groom. ]
On Friday evening, June 16, 1922 at 5 o'clock occurred the marriage of Miss Irene B. PORTERFIELD, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. B. L. PORTERFIELD of Fayette street to Prof. Charles C. RODGERS. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. W. D. LEWIS at the PORTERFIELD home. The bride wore a traveling suite of midnight blue with hat to match, also a corsage of cream rosebuds. The attendants were Miss Dorothy WELSH and F. H. KENNEDY. Mr. and Mrs. RODGERS left in a car for Pittsburgh where they took a train for Franklin. They expect to visit a number of other cities in northern Pennsylvania. On their return Mrs. RODGERS will leave at once for Slippery Rock normal school where she will attend summer school.

PORTERFIELD - ROGERS.
[ ROGERS is the Groom. ]
Miss Irene M. PORTERFIELD, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bert L. PORTERFIELD of Oakdale, and Charles C. ROGERS of Oakdale, were married at four o'clock Friday evening, June 16, 1922, at the home of the bride. The Rev. W. D. LEWIS performed the ceremony. The bride was given in marriage by her father. She wore a dark blue traveling suit and carried a shower bouquet of cream rose buds. Miss Dorothy WELSH and Frank KENNEDY were the attendants. A wedding dinner was served at the home of the bride, following which Mr. and Mrs. ROGERS left for Franklin. Upon their return home they will reside in Oakdale. Mr. ROGERS is principal of the North Fayette township schools.

ROGERS - DUNCAN
Mr. John C. ROGERS and Miss Bella DUNCAN were united in marriage on Tuesday evening, May 28, at nine o'clock, at the home of the bride's father, William S. DUNCAN, in Fourth street, McDonald, in the presence of the near relatives of the high contracting parties. The Rev. W. D. IRONS, D. D., performed the ceremony. Mr. and Mrs. ROGERS left on the ten train the same evening for a trip to the Great Lakes.

ROGERS - INGLIS
The wedding of Miss Madge INGLIS, daughter of Mr. David INGLIS, 325 Brandon street, Greensburg, to Mr. William D. ROGERS, son of Mrs. John C. ROGERS, McDonald, occurred Saturday afternoon, June 28, 1947, at four o'clock in the Westminster Presbyterian church, Greensburg.
The wedding, witnessed by the immediate families, was performed by the Rev. Eugene G. SLEP, pastor of the Westminster Presbyterian church.
The bride, given in marriage by her father, was attired in a white gabardine suit with hat to match, and she wore a purple orchid corsage. The pearls she wore were a gift of the bridegroom.
Miss Isabel DICK, cousin of the bride, was maid of honor. Miss DICK chose as her costume a dusty pink gabardine suit with matching hat and wore a corsage of gardenias.
John Albert SCHOTTENHEIMER of McDonald, brother-in-law of the bridegroom, was
bestman.
The ceremony in the church was followed by a dinner in the Jacktown hotel.
The bride's going-away costume was a pale blue suit with navy blue accessories. Following a wedding trip to New York state, Mr. and Mrs. ROGERS will make their home in McDonald.
