ROBINSON - PEACOCK
The 59th wedding anniversary of the bridegroom's grandparents was chosen for the wedding date of Miss Agnes PEACOCK, daughter of Mrs. Frances WEATHERINGTON of Columbus, Ga., and Charles J. ROBINSON, son of Mr. and Mrs. Albert J. ROBINSON of Midway, who were married Sunday, August 10, in the home of Mr. and Mrs. C. J. ROBINSON in Dennison, Ohio.
The couple approached the improvised altar as the hands of the clock approached the hour of three. Mrs. Carl J. BENDER, justice of the peace and aunt of the bridegroom, performed the double ring ceremony in the presence of sixty guests. The altar was decorated with two seven branch candelabra holding tall white tapers, palms, Oregon huckleberry and baskets of white gladioli and pink carnations.
The bride chose for her wedding a two-piece gray wool suit with black accessories and carried a bouquet of pink and white carnations with long white streamers.
The maid of honor, Miss Louise HORNE of Columbus, Ga., wore a deep rose wool crepe dress with long shirred peplum enhanced at the waist by a wide gold mesh belt. She wore black accessories and pinned to her shoulder was a corsage of yellow and white roses.
Edward MUSTIO of Imperial was bestman for his brother-in-law, and seating the guests were William FULLERTON, Midway, and Dale D. ROBINSON of Uhrichsville, Ohio.
Mrs. Irvin NUSSDORFER of Dennison, Ohio, presented fifteen minutes of nuptial music preceding the ceremony and Albert R. NEIGHBOR, Jr., of Dennison, Ohio, sang "O Promise Me" and "I Love You Truly."
For her son's wedding, Mrs. ROBINSON wore a gray printed crepe dress with white accessories and a corsage of white carnations pinned to the shoulder. The bride's mother was unable to attend.
A reception was held following the ceremony in the home of the grandparents for sixty guests.
The bride attended Jordan high school, Columbus, Ga., and the bridegroom is a graduate of the Findlay Vocational school, Imperial. He has recently returned from Fort
Benning, Ga., where he was taking advanced training in the U. S. Army. He served overseas as captain in the infantry during World War II and is a member of the Reserve Corps. He is now employed as brakeman for the Pennsylvania Railroad Co.
Following the reception the couple left immediately for Buckeye Lake, Ohio.

Miss Midred RANNELS, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James RANNELS of Oakdale and Thomas J. ROBINSON were quietly united in marriage at the parsonage of the A. M. E. Z. church by the Rev. ROSCO on Friday, July 3rd.

Mr. David C. KIRK of Arlington heights announces the marriage of his granddaughter, Miss Jane KIRK, to Pvt. William Taylor
ROBINSON, United States army. Only the immediate families witnessed the ceremony which was performed by the Reverend
J. Rhys ROBERTS on Saturday evening, September 4, 1943, at 8:30 o'clock in the first Presbyterian church of Pitcairn.
The bride chose a street-length dress of navy blue crepe. her accessories were white and she wore a headdress fashioned from
white camellias. Her maid of honor, Miss Vienna ROBINSON, a sister of the bridegroom, wore pale blue crepe with pink accessories and
a headdress of pink camellias. Seaman Reed GWYER of New London,
Conn., was bestman.
The bride, who was graduated from McDonald high school in the class of 1940, is a recent graduate of the Presbyterian Hospital school
of nursing. Private ROBINSON, a son of Mr. and Mrs. John ROBISNON of Pitcairn, is at the present stationed at Camp Shelby,
Miss.
