ROBERTS - MONTGOMERY
The marriage of Miss Patricia LaRoss MONTGOMERY, daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Mathison James MONTGOMERY of
Wilkinsburg, and Mr. Eugene Edward ROBERTS, son of Mr. and Mrs. Chester Calvin ROBERTS of Pitcairn, was solemnized on Saturday morning June 29, 1946, in the McGinnis Presbyterian church, Pitcairn, the Rev. John Rhys ROBERTS officiating.
The bride, given in marriage by her father, was attended by Mrs. Charles PROFIT, sister of the bridegroom, as matron of honor. Mr. Robert ROBERTS served as his brother's
bestman.
A wedding breakfast followed in the Penn Lincoln hotel, Wilkinsburg.
Mrs. ROBERTS is a granddaughter of the late Dr. William A. LaROSS of McDonald and of the late Dr. and Mrs. William H. MONTGOMERY of Pitcairn.
Upon their return from New York and the Pocono mountains, Mr. and Mrs. ROBERTS will reside in Wilkinsburg.

FENNELL - ROBERTS
[ ROBERTS is the Groom. ]
The marriage of Miss Carried Evelyn FENNELL, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John FENNELL of Butler, and Harmon E. ROBERTS, son of Mr. and
Mrs. J. B. ROBERTS of Roosevelt avenue, McDonald, took place in the Methodist church at Butler on Tuesday, September 9, 1924. The pastor,
the Rev. Mr. CLENAHAN, performed the ceremony.
Mr. ROBERTS is a graduate of the McDonald high school, class of 1915. Shortly after the entry of the United States into the World war he
enlisted in the Tank Corps and served until after the armistice. He is at present employed in the office of the American Tin & Steel Co, at Sharon.

DeVOS - ROBERTS
[ ROBERTS is the Groom. ]
On Wednesday evening, June 19, at 7:45 o'clock, Miss Marie DeVOS, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. August
DeVOS of Cecil, and Mr. Henry ROBERTS of McDonald, were united in marriage in the French United Presbyterian church. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. Auguste
DeVOS. The bride was dressed in white chiffon and wore a lace veil. Her bridal bouquet was of white roses and lillies
[sic] of the valley. She was given in marriage by her father. Mrs. Auguste
DeVOS of Center avenue, sister-in-law of the bride, was the matron of honor, wearing yellow chiffon and carrying a bouquet of pink roses. The two bridesmaids were Miss Erma
DeVOS, sister of the bride, in blue chiffon and Miss Emma VANDALE, in pink chiffon. Two
little nieces of the groom were the flower girls. Mr. ROBERTS chose for his best man Mr. John ROBERTS of McDonald. The two ushers were August
DeVOS, brother of the bride, and Howard STEVENS of Canonsburg. Immediately after the wedding the bride and groom left for a trip to Buffalo, where they will visit a brother of the bride, and to Niagara Falls. They will spend the summer in McDonald and in the fall will live in Carnegie, where Mr. Roberts is principal of the Junior high school in East Carnegie.
